I inadvertently purchased a pair of Taryn Rose black bootie shoes last fall, (because they were so cute) not knowing they were “comfort shoes”. They are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in ages. Sorry to hear they may not be in business anymore. I found mine at Nordstrom rack. Will continue to research because would love to have another pair or two. Hope this finds your foot feeling much better!

OK so many fun places to go! My favorite cocktail bar is Dear Irving. All art deco. Feels like the kind of place the Mad Men set would have gone after work. Favorite restaurants are Dirty French, Lupa, Blue Ribbon Sushi. For a fun shopping lunch, I really like going to Fred's at Barney's uptown. Great people watching (Tory Burch was sitting across from me the last time I was there).

Lissy, I had s boot too up to my knee it was awful had to wear for six weeks. Maybe you can get some inserts for your designer shoes. You do not want the old lady shoes the Doctor recommends. Good luck hope you heal past. Enjoy!!

Gel is only good for your nails if you keep doing it. I have super strong nails and gel made them weaker and weaker until they would barely grow without chipping off!
I don't believe in supportive shoes or orthotics. I believe supportive shoes only make the foot weaker and weaker. My husband trained to run barefoot. The foot needs to work in order to keep up it's strength. Don't listen to the foot doctor with regards to supportive shoes.

You should try SNS instead of Gel on your nails. I had to stop getting gel because they killed my nails, but SNS has been amazing!
