It's hard to tell what will happen if you move your
hand while flashing the scooter, it's much safer to
solder those connections.
Remember that you do this at your own risk.
I'm just showing that it's possible :)

Thanks so much! I managed to downgrade BLE. Your video gave me confidence to try this hand method. I tried the first connection and it failed to connect at all. I cleaned the contacts using Q tip soaked in brake cleaner fluid. I tried to connect the second time, and connection worked. The downgrade process started. I think in the second step, after the long first flashing step, connection was lost. I'm not sure if this is because I used the free-hand method. I was reading in the German forum this can also happen if you don't cut one of the lines. The connection re-established immediately, and downgrade finished without any more hiccups.

Nah, this wont help. I don't know much about ninebot, if you can't get it back using the app, you'll probably have to flash your ESC controller to stock. Try asking in this telegram chat: t.me/scooterhackingchat

If you move your hand and the wires disconnect nothing will happen, the flashing will just fail. You will simply just restart the flashing, and everything will be fun, this is because you aren't messing with the boot loader when using st-link v2!
People in the comments are talking about cutting a capacitor or something can you please explain because i don't know what that is

@asid You don't need to necessarily cut off this capacitor, if you cut it off, the connection will be faster and more stable.

You don't need to cut it, miduflasher works with a capacitor untouched.
Would this method also work on a segway ninebot G30LD? Assuming I flash it with ninebot software of course. The dashboard chip is the same, all the numbers match on the chip as well. All I could find about the G30LD is people soldering straight to the speed controller, which requires a lot of disassembly.

Hi, what does ESC mean, my BLE board is the 3.2 v I can also do this. the points from top to bottom, what order do they have to connect to the stlink v2 Gnd, Clock and 5v? Thanks.

hey i flashed 2 scooter one xiaomi pro 2 nordic and one xiaomi 1s nordic .1s .
i changed display to earlier than BLE 157 and i flashed both is hacked and driving fast works good but both when i turn they of they start by them self and they are not possible to turn of by them self please can you tell what i have done or what i should do to fix this ?
Did you check your ESCversion?
You can check your ESC by the app: "m365 downG " look in the UUID under Tools. If the UUID does not contain FF characters, it is the new controller.
If the UUID contains the characters FF , it is the old controller.
I think you have that 3rd version and need a different DRV.

Tengo un pro2 ver BLE157, DRIVE 248, ESC version 3. Hice el flasheo solo del BLE como este video y después con DownG le puse su versión original 2.2.3. Y ya todo fue perfecto con estas características de mi patín, gracias. ¿Podrías hacer algún video para salvar de brink también? Me gustaría aprenderlo. Gracias de nuevo tienes mi like.

@maikleo primero desde el pc con stlink y en sus vídeos está la descarga y una vez hecho esto, con DownG vuelvo a instalar la versión 2.2.3. Mira sus vídeos que tiene otro igual con la descarga desde el pc.

So you flashed BLE134 to M365. Then you need to flash the correct BLE with stlink (as in the video, just choose m365 scooter model). Maybe there is an easier way, try asking in this telegram chat: t.me/scooterhackingchat

If you will not solder, then probably the best option is to practice connecting in the "Dump Flash" mode. As you need perfect alignment of pins.
One subscriber has reported that nothing terrible will happen if you disconnect wires while flashing: " if you move the cables while flashing. It "soft locks" the scooter, but all you need to do is unplug the board (by removing the scooter "head"/steering wheel) and then replug it. You'll then have to reconnect, your scooter will appear as "Empty Flash" or "Flash", something along those lines, at which point you should be able to connect and unlock it (if you locked it). Then, try again. It doesn't just "brick" your scooter."

Hi just got everything. Tried its couple times but didnt work. When i put the pin on the board. It just beeps and goes off and beeps again. Wpuld this be a connection witht the pins
It's due to bad contact. Without soldering, clean those contact pads with isopropyl or something similar, as there is coating.

This video is for dashboard downgrade. A dashboard acts like a gate that allows flashing the mainboard. To downgrade the dashboard, you don't need to know your mainboard microcontroller. After ble (dashboard) downgrade install shu and then shfw from it.
Does this work with the S2? Do you have any resources? I cant find any guides on using the solderpoints you have shown

Hi! I live in norway and here we have a law that says the speed limit has to be 20 km/h is it possible to have a secret speed mode? Like if it goes 30km/h and if i press for example power button and brakes it switches to 20km/h max?

This is an unmodified BLE, just a lower version. You can upgrade it to the newest blocked with MiHome app, or to any other via Bluetooth.

Im new in all of that i got my mi scooter 1s yesterday and i updated it to newest version and now i cant downgrade it and if i buy st link i have no idea what software i should download or do anything i just want my scooter to go 35km/h instead of 20

@@vasilisvlachos2654 It doesn't matter the color of the wires, it matters where you connect them to the stlink and the scooter. Everything is shown in the other video. (Stlink pin diagram is on the stlink itself).

Should work without removing the capacitor or cutting the capacitor track. If you will not solder, then probably the best option is to practice connecting in the "Dump Flash" mode. As you need perfect alignment of pins.
Few subscribers reported successful flash on pro2 without capacitor removal.
And remember that you need a different DRV for your ESC board.

Disconnect the mainboard from the battery and leave it unplugged for a while. The scooter is discharged, but the battery still has enough charge to power the motherboard.
@@MindaugasJocionis let me tell the whole story its a xiami m356 i tried making it faster but i flahed the wrong files so it started beeping and flashing the back lights and it dident turn off so i guy told me to st link it and so i did with your vidio but the program you showed dident let me downgrade i hade to either dump flash or write flash witch i did both but my hands did move but it was completed but with no beep. So the firmware is damaged or something i dont really know😢 the flashing and beeping stopped for a while but the flashing strated but bo beeping and today battery was over so i rechaged ir flashing of back lights started but the screen dusent turn on right now i dont really know whats happening i am asking around on reddit but if you choud help me id be very happy🙏
@@badpenda183 Before flashing to M365 firmware (DRV) that increases speed, you need to flash modified dashboard firmware (BLE) because the M365 dashboard does not have 3 speeds.
So, I think you have 3 options:
1. Buy a dashboard for Pro2; it should start riding after that.
