I'll watch the trailer then the commentary without watching the movie (if I haven't already seen it) exactly because of what you said. I just love watching them chat about movies. Seeing honest trailers with and without seeing the movies, I get about the same amount of enjoyment out of them.

Dan Murrel, the Lord of the Rings reference might be intentional. The final act was filmed in New Zealand in the same mountains that were used as the wide shots of Mordor. I was just there, and our airplane pilot was telling us that Tom Cruise was recently there making his most recent film flying helicopters.
I can't speak for everyone, but I watch this and the trailers even if I haven't seen a movie because I don't want to care about spoilers for everything, I want it to be a special feeling when I don't want a movie spoiled. Came to this conclusion around the time Infinity War came out. Also, the Honest Trailers are a highlight of my week, and honestly, I care more about them than most of the movies.
@@sycois there are only so many movies he cares about spoilers for so he's seen them, probably, before they are released digitally and any movie HT does is at least that old. So if it's a movie he doesn't really care about why care about spoilers? I mean. That's what I got from it.

In reference to watching the movies before the Honest Trailer: Of the 200+ movies you have given an Honest Trailer to, I've watched MAYBE 25% of them. I am really entertained listening to you guys talk about movies.
Just a quick note (largely cause I love all of you), but I used to just watch the Honest Trailers, it was a squee moment in the house for me and the kiddo. Then I found out there were commentaries and I adore these. I'll listen to these above the trailer each and every time. So thank you all for what you do. It's definitely a bright spot in the week, and damn funny (even when I don't always agree)

I remember hearing Stallone talk about when jason statham saved two people and himself when doing a stunt they accidentally drove a truck/jeep 30 feet of a dock into the cold ocean during an Expendables 3 shoot. Crazy shit.
I’m one of the weird weird ones! For starters, I have to be in a very specific mood to fully enjoy the tone of the honest trailers. But I’m almost always in the mood to hear you three expound on your feelings about the movie and being in the breadth and depth of your film knowledge and also personal experiences into the analysis. The other significant factor is that there are some movies I have little to know interest in watch in their entirety, but they are such important pieces of film history and/or pop culture, that I appreciate getting filled in on what the movie is about and how it influenced other works etc. y’all are like the way more interesting version of Wikipedia in that regard 😂 THANK YOU for continuing to produce intelligent respectful creative thought provoking content for the Internet! MI had a really big turnaround after Christopher McQuarrie took over. Rogue Nation and Fallout were absolutely awesome. I love that they're seemingly building continuity and an espionage/spy universe. PLEASE CAST THE STARS OF THE RAID IN THESE MOVIES😁. They'd make them all the more badass

i've definitely watched the commentaries before the trailer, and i also have definitely watched honest trailers for movies i haven't seen. Exceptions being ones i know for sure that i want to see (such as Split, which i just watched this weekend). In fact, the honest trailer for Get Out convinced me that I needed to watch that movie when i would have otherwise not given it a chance. So i knew everything about the movie before going into it. Which is too bad, but i still got a lot out of it.
I like III the best as well. Only b/c PSH's acting & TC's acting were the most memorable things about the franchise that I remember. I haven't seen Fallout though. This is mainly b/c I've enjoyed a falling-out with TC movies in general.

My camp brings us to see movies one day per session. We had the choice between Incredibles 2 or this movie (I really wanted to see Incredibles but the theatre got to full). I had never watched a single Mission Impossible movie before seeing this one and I was not confused at all.

Mission impossible 7 Trailer. This time the Halo jump is into an active volcano. Still at the same speed but this time the boiling lava is all around him as he is jumping.... he still does the rock climbing hanging on the edge of a cliff part but now the lava is coming toward his hand from above him and less than an inch from incinerating him.
Easily one of the best movies of 2018 and is proof sequels cannot only be good but surpass the original.MI:Fallout was a summer movie with no agendas,no strings attached and no studio interference.
I legit thought that the final bomb went off and he lost all his friends. I was like holy crap I can't believe they went that dark for an ending. Then the next one would be the aftermath
