Apologies if someone already mentioned it... but the big reveal is actually foreshadowed in the opening lunch scene. When the big boss asked "who didnt tip?", everyone remained silent except Mr Orange, aka The Rat. He immediately ratted out Mr Pink.
PLEASE watch True Romance. Tarantino wrote the script but sold it to finance Reservoir Dogs. Huge cast with a couple all time performances (also, it happens to be my favorite movie).
Yes - although it's often missed from the list of Tarantino films, the plot, characters and dialogue styles are all so familiar that it most certainly IS a "Tarantino Film"...
I'm NOT admitting to being old . But I remember watching this one in the theater 😂 When it came out, there had never been anything like it! We talked about it for weeks...arguing over whether Mr Pink got away or not. Pulp Fiction next??! 😊
I only saw this once but I heard there was a theory that literally no one made it out of this, not even Mr. Pink. He just took the diamonds, got into another shootout with the cops, and died trying to get away. This movie is insane! So much creativity and sharp writing from Tarantino in this one!
Hi Jade, how are you lovely beautiful lady? Cool, it's great you're continuing with the Quentin Tarantino Universe and his original and best movie :) This is my favorite of his, it's so gritty & gripping. Please react to his 2nd movie Pulp Fiction next, that's another of his best films, a crime classic. I love your reactions and I'm subscribed :)
The final shootout is confusing because the squib (blood pack) Eddie (Chris Penn) was wearing detonated before it was supposed to, so he just went ahead and dropped to the floor thus throwing everything out of sync. It's said Tarantino left it like that to cause controversy and fuel future discussion about the film.
Great reaction Joob like always! The debut film by Quentin Tarantino that set his career off with a bang. A debut that reflects Tarantino's unique, postmodern style and points towards things to come. A powerful cast including Madsen, Keitel, Roth and Buscemi who all deliver. Witty dialogue and having the most sadistic torture scene ever, this one is a crime classic. There are some fun-facts about this masterpiece. This was almost another amateur movie, the original plan for “Reservoir Dogs” was for it to be another of Tarantino’s films made on a whim. His plan was to make it a 16mm black-and-white movie with less ambition, and also a budget of only $30,000 dollars. It was just going to be made with his friends, including Lawrence Bender, who ended up producing “Reservoir Dogs.” Harvey Keitel was vital to the film, you never know what chain of events will occur in a film’s production. Bender gave a copy of Tarantino’s script to his acting teacher. That teacher gave it to their wife, and their wife gave it to Harvey Keitel. Keitel, an established actor, signed on as a co-producer, resulting in a budget somewhere between $1.2 and $3 million. The crew that puts together the robbery in the film doesn’t use their actual names. Instead, they are referenced by colors, such as Mr. Pink, Mr. Blonde, and Mr. Green. This is directly lifted from the original “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three,” from (1974) where the criminals do the same thing. Lawrence Tierney who plays Joe Cabot had a lengthy career in Hollywood. Read any stories on him and you begin to wonder why. Tierney was often drunk and violent, and he was arrested dozens of times in his life. He was also immensely difficult on set, and Tarantino said that he and Tierney got into a physical altercation. Also, while filming this movie the actor was arrested again. Why? Because he got drunk and shot at his nephew. One of the more famous names in the movie is just a voice, Tarantino makes use of diegetic sound in the film, which is to say the music comes from sources within the film. This includes radios tuned into K-Billy’s “Sounds of the Seventies.” We hear the DJ do their patter here and there, and you might know the voice. The DJ is none other than standup Steven Wright. There was not exactly a real costume budget on the film. A lot of the clothing worn by the characters was from the personal wardrobe of the actors. This includes the tracksuit that Chris Penn’s Nice Guy Eddie wears. Tarantino seeded a future film in the movie, On the radio, you might hear an ad for Jack Rabbit Slim’s. You later see Jack Rabbit Slim’s in “Pulp Fiction.” It’s the ‘50s-themed restaurant Vincent and Mia go to for expensive milkshakes (that are worth it) and Steve Buscemi as a waiter dressed like Buddy Holly. Keep up the good work.
You definitely have to check out once upon a time in Hollywood it is beautiful film from Quentin Tarantino 9th film I would love to see your reaction to it awesome job with the channel
Stuck in the Middle With You by Stealer’s Wheel always gets lodged deep in my brain for days after watching this movie. Such a good song. Also that shade of lipstick/lip balm looks really good on you 😊
Many Quentin Tarantino movies tie into each other. For instance, in "Reservoir Dogs" there is a character who's name is Vic Vega, Mr. Blonde. In "Pulp Fiction" the John Travolta character was named Vinnie Vega, Vic's brother. And from now on, every time you hear Stealer's Wheel "Stuck In The Middle With You", you will flash on "that" scene.
you should treat yourself to the "making of..." stories behind this movie, they are AWESOME! 😉 now i am off to learn how to say your new channel name THREE TIMES FAST 🤪 loved, Loved, LOVED your reaction! 👍😁
Fact: Samuel L Jackson unsuccessfully auditioned to play Mr. Orange's supervisor, but didn’t get it, but Tarantino liked him so much he wrote the part of Jules in Pulp Fiction just for him
That is quite the opinion. Resevoir Dogs being better than Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, Django Unchained and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood..... that is a wild take.
Caught pop culture phenomenon Pulp Fiction when it hit & absolutely loved it like most. Then, also like most, id heard hed done this yrs before so watched it on dvd. Then "Jackie Brown" hit & i loved it better than Pulp Fiction, Tarantino's "Mona Lisa". Most disagreed i guess, but i was comforted by the fact that many top Hollywood A-Listers agreed. Wish i remembered names, but was shocked my unpopular opinion at the time resignated with actual actors over public opinion, & it has been so long i cant recall. Dont know if it was just the acting or what? But ever afterwards ive personally been disappointed. If he hadnt said from the start he was only doing 10 films i wouldn't be here griping.😅 All definitely worth the watch, friend, & you'll prob be amazed by all his actual director's credited flicks. Im just old curmudgeon now😅, a TN boy to boot, as well as growing up with a lil bro Hollywood gonzo film-maker named Harmony Korine.😳 🤣!!! My problem besides his "Only 10 films" is blatantly apparent here in his first. The man is Master of dialogue, yet his script structure is "paint by numbers". Keitel's character was a seasoned gangster vet & never in a million yrs would've did what he did. More than likely he would've just ended Roth & more money for him & rest of gang. But he has to tie it all up in a nice lil bow via Screenwriting 101. As he did for example in another of his i was loving up until the guy driving car could've just hit the gd brakes & ended it!😅 And dont get me started on Kindergarten-level revenge plots of slavedrivers & nazis!🙄 Tell some 5 yr olds about such history, then come & say, assignment today is movie ideas for revenge, & guess what they would most likely come up with? Sorry, but is Pedestrian as it comes. Jesus, how many fukn movies we gotta see about that sht? There's already been a thousand my whole 53 yrs, let alone before i was born! Guess Tarantino had to please his own Masters, like Harvey??😅 & DIVIDE, DIVIDE, DIVIDE!!! On that note, even though i believe in freedom of speech, Tarantino's use of "N Word" is way over the top! Im from stix of NC AND TN, & im here to tell you i couldn't count on 2 hands, if that, Southern folk using that term to actually describe a black person!!!🙄 I wouldn't expect you to take my advice with all that said, but you should definitely not miss "Four Rooms", where Tarantino has a "room". I hope others not so critical will 2nd that. I was just hoping for a 2nd Kubrick of sorts & let down BIG TIME. May you enjoy them all! Wish i could!😂 To each their own, mofos!!! ✌️🌎❤️

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE WITH YOUUUUU
As a born and raised American I think tipping is very much optional and stupid when people think it's a mandatory right.
The Thing, as a crime drama.
I'm NOT admitting to being old . But I remember watching this one in the theater 😂 When it came out, there had never been anything like it! We talked about it for weeks...arguing over whether Mr Pink got away or not.

Yes Mr Pink dies...the shootout and cops screaming in the background while Mr White & Orange have their " Moment"
Intense, pure Tarantino style
Prettiest white-haired girl on YT.
Thank you, Jade! 👤

Mr. White yelling at Mr. Blonde was so good
@26:55 yes. That is the correct response to the revelation to Mr. White that Mr. Orange was indeed a cop!
Great reaction kid! Cheers!
3:58 - In case you didn't notice, Orange yells "She had a baby, man! She had a baby!"

Because some guy on some other job is Mr. Purple.
You should watch
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels
Snatch
Rocknrolla
The Gentlemen
Still the best Tarantino movie.

Vick Vega is the older cousin of John Travolta's "Vincent Vega" in Pulp Fiction according to the lore.
They were brothers
@@AFMountaineer2000 Oh, I think that makes more sense, thanks for filling me in.👍
