The vocals are focus more on voice acting than on how beautiful it sounds, which is a risky move that _damn_ well paid off. The lyrics are well-written, and you don’t need to see the scene to understand the gist of what’s happening. The song shows the trio’s relations with each other, and shows their personalities so perfectly. This song is just Daniel Ingram telling everyone he went to music school, and had some damn impressive grades.

in my opinion it was a bit of a rollercoaster after season 3. 4 was good, 5 was really good, 6 was awful, 7 was amazing, 8 was ehh, and 9 was pretty good. i mean, any show that runs for that long is gonna have some not so great seasons, so it's not unexpected.

Honestly I found her story pretty sad. It sounded like she trusted her changelings and viewed them working together as teamwork, with her as the leader. But the changelings revolted, so she probably views teamwork as a fad she's ready been through that ended for her. Since then, she clearly wanted to work alone due to that feeling of abandonment
I honestly feel bad for cozy glow's parents if she has any for having such a manipulative, two-faced, controlling, short tempered and power hungry pony for a daughter espcially after she got sent to Tartarus then get turned to stone forever.
I like how they made this villain song a Tango number that makes it even better even though the villains didn't start off on the best foot they actually work pretty well together because they all want the same thing the destruction of Twilight Sparkle and her friends

This may sound weird but I feel like this song fits the dynamic of velvette, vox and valentino from hazbin hotel lol. like: Vel as cozy glow Vox as chrysalis( chrysalis wanting revenge on starlight and vox wanting revenge on alastor) and valentino as tirek. I’m just gonna say it. Cozy’s not the most well developed villain in the show. But she is by far the scariest in concept and the most dangerous in execution. To start off she’s the typical malevolent, heartless, manipulative brat with a very convincing nice girl facade that you’d normally expect from a child villain But she’s also so much more than that. She knocks the core concept of the show flat on its ass by using friendship purely as a means to gain power. Even after having attended twilight’s school she takes what she’s learned and uses it as a weapon. The very same magic that reformed other villains, she merely perceived as something that could be twisted to her benefit. Remember, she was the driving force behind the villain team up in season 9. She’s the one that sold tirek and chrysalis on the idea using this very song. But that’s not all. Her crimes and the details surrounding them really seal the deal regarding how messed up this little filly truly is. Terrorism, treason, usurpation, at least one count of murder according to Wikipedia and the list goes on. I believe treason and usurpation speak for themselves just by watching the show but let’s address the terrorism. She attempted to drain all the magic from equestria. In a society that is reliant on magic the same way we rely on electricity. this is like knocking out every power grid worldwide except it’s even worse since magic is an inherent part of everyone in this world including her. We saw some folks nearly die but what about the shit we didn’t see? How many ponies or various other creatures actually did die? You can’t prove it was zero. And she likely wouldn’t care if it was the entire population. Not to mention the fact that she had the desire, motivation and know how to be able to do any of that in the first place. Yes I know she got that information from tirek but the fact that she wanted that information in the first place is even more messed up. Cozy glow isn’t just any old child villain. She’s a malevolent heartless creature with zero concept of empathy, remorse or restraint. The world is hers and hers alone. The only thing keeping her in check is the desire and the need to maintain her innocent sweet girl facade which inherently makes her even more terrifying because just imagine that one person you greatly respected and admired until one day learning what a monster they truly were whether it be a false friend or a celebrity idol. Cozy Glow’s betrayal inflicted that feeling on everyone. The entire cast loved her whether they be a major character or a minor one. She had them all charmed, had them all fooled. Her true colors didn’t present themselves for a long time and if not for the young six and the mane 6 they probably never would have. She had everyone’s trust so secured that she was able to rally an entire school together. She knew just what to say to get everyone on her side without even a hint as to her true intention. That type of large scale manipulation is politician worthy. I will never understand people who don’t think cozy glow is interesting because in my mind. She’s the most interesting of them all purely by virtue of what she is compared to what she does
i think the biggest fail of the season was combining the "we're trying to do the serios and complex plot here" while having such a joke villains who are literally the eqivalent of the "menacingly laughing while twisting moustache" cliche, the song is kinda good tho (sorry for any typos, i'm not an english speaker)
