- Inspired by the thousands of US election maps I show you how to apply a dynamic filter to your report with a cool feature that stood out - the Play Axis Visual. It lets you automatically change the filter selection and you can decide how quickly and if it should run in a loop. Try this animation on your report and let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Whoa dude! I never knew there's the alignment feature in Power BI! I was just thinking about it recently, "Can't arranging be easy as PowerPoint?"
Then your video popped up.
😀 haha your life will never be the same again 😉
@@HowtoPowerBI The "Format Painter" was a game changer for me 😀
Great video. Just one question, if I am doing a real-time big screen dashboard using Power BI connecting to SQL Server and want the data to be refreshed every second, can I accomplish this using Play Axis?
Great video. Thank you!
👊😎 thank you!
Awesome Demo! Love it!
Thanks Stephan, much appreciated :)
I'm getting overwhelmed with brilliance! You are absolutely brilliant!!! A true Leonel Messi of Power BI. Bra I really wish to know you personally. I'll check your LinkedIn.

@@HowtoPowerBI Hahaha. You're a GOAT!
Hi please help, how can I create a loop with PLAY AXIS to filter between all time and only today data. It would be like if I had a slicer with "select all" and "today" option but with Play Axis! I tried but one condition exclude the other.
Is there a visual to automatically scroll down a table automatically. Eg. If there are 10 items listed, only 4 can be viewed based on the preset size of the visual, the table view should automatically scroll down to display all the items.
Would it be possible for Play Axis to show cumulative data, instead of data per year?
I was wondering if it would be possible to run the play axis over a parameter different from the time. And then show how the rest of variables evolve.
yes also works! 🙂
Hey Bas, thanks a lot for all your great videos! Is it possible to automate export of a PBI report to pdf for all pages based on all slicer values?
try Power BI Robots
Sorry if a stupid question but for the data how do did you get the data on the hour every hour? Was it a script or is the data saved on the website? Great video as always!
For the video I simply downloaded the csv file and then in Power Query took one value for each hour. I believe there is a API though for the data.
