A black dwarf is the remnants of a red dwarf and the sun is far heavier than them, as opposed to the stars two times heavier than the sun needed to create a pulsar - a neutron star with a comparatively immensely fast rotation. Also, anything a few million times the size of the sun is super massive black hole that has spent potentially billions of years collecting matter - stars a couple hundred times the mass of the sun would barely hold itself together before throwing a tantrum and obliterating anything within a radius far exceeding the oort cloud. But your idea does sound pretty damn cool. I'm sad, now.
