Ehh, I have a feeling that with a product like this it could very likely be 3-4 years before a Ring2 comes out. I mean, the Buds2 have been around for what? 2-3 years and we're FINALLY getting some Buds3? So something like a ring may take even longer to advance. I mean, that's really the only reason why Samsung would even really bother with a Ring2 is if new tech made it possible for 1) even more battery 2) a new sensor was engineered to fit in a ring. So yeah, I certainly wouldn't wait on a Ring2 to adapt. But maybe wait like 6 months for Samsung to work out any software bugs, maybe wait and see if there is a design flaw, etc. I'm not typically an early adopter. I've been watching the Flip & Fold for a while and the Fold6 finally caught my attention...no more gap when you've got it folded, the hinge looks a lot more protected, the crease looks better, etc. So maaaaaybe for the Fold7 I'll see what they're about. I just really like the idea of having a slightly skinnier phone for much easier 1-handed use but then you also have like a mini-TV screen that's perfect for multi-tasking. But it's been more a gimmick than legit to me until just days ago. Now if only they could find a place for an s-pen.

Literally I can get a watch for half that price and it does double the things!!! SMDH
But then you need to wear an ugly smartwatch instead of a beautiful mechanical watch. Not gonna happen for me so this ring is a great solution.
this is for people that use mechanical watches, so rich people
@@jTiKey more like people that like traditional watches. Many rich people wear smart watches.
@@steviecoleman9260 show me where?
@@MTCBKK hahahaha o man the spin ppl do in their heads to throw money away its amazing. Yall are just as hilarious as the women buying designer hand bags.
My wedding band doesn't cost that much.
It's not for me. I would have been interested if Samsung had incorporated more features for fitness activities and notifications. I'll stick with my Galaxy Watch 6 CLASSIC.
Meanwhile ringconn out here being cheaper and subscription free
That's a lot of money to pay for a ring that "does only a specific number of things on purpose"...
I think people are valuing this ring like it's a cheap piece of tech. The galaxy ring is a ring, have you guys ever tried buying a titanium ring or a smart ring before? If you don't want to buy an accessory, then don't buy it. If you do want a solid ring that also tracks your health, then get the ring.
The price will come down if smart rings becomes a trend
I always bought Samsung flagships, Note, S Ultra. But they go Apple greed, so next year ill buy a Nubia for gaming.
Why doesn't measure body temp
It does, but it can't be accurate, given its location, to use directly. The temperature sensor is just to see the differences throughout the day.
I cant justify hsving both the watch and the ring
Yeah, their a little late might've been market hit,10 year's ago.
This is not for everyone. You can always buy cheap products that fit you well😂😂😂😂
It's not enough here for me to buy. The watch will do just fine for me
who asked buster
No way I would pay that much for that ring!
It's not a lot...
@@nugget7865 ...ok
Well there is no subscription so $400 is dirt cheap.
Just 100 views? What happened to android authority? 😭
Everyone on earth is broke bro 😂 ain't no one buying the digital ring of Sauron
Lol 🤣 @@gureno19
@@gureno19Even without being broke, smart rings aren't really that popular, especially among those that don't already have one. Hell, after this video, I'm out. I only cared because I want a smartwatch replacement, which evidently this isn't.
But yea the price in the thumbnail told most that they're not interested.
They stopped regularly uploading for years.
Mrwhosetheboss and MKBHD. 😂😂
Simple. You are not their market.
Not even close to being worth it for what it is. Give it 1 month and price will be in half because of poor sales.
It's cheaper than the Oura Ring in the long run so it's gonna be a winner.
@@MTCBKKmy thoughts exactly. You don't have to worry about paying the subscription.
Still better than the Apple VR Goggles.
I tried to watch this video but this guy is not able to explain WHAT IS IT
They should have made it adjustable for when you lose weight
Some comments in here shows why shampoo has how to use description.
Not worth the money 💵..
No swimming tracking? Waste of money!
If its only use cases is for health tracking, it is complete useless and overpriced. If it can offer something like NFC AND remote controlling of other connected devices, then it will be useful.
ULTRAHUMAN SMART RING ULTIMATE SUPERB RING
This thing isn't worth $50
Only broke people say that
not gonna pay that price for a "ring". Would rather pay for a watch to tell me time at the same time.
And how much did you pay for your traditional ring? A normal titanium with 0 features from a standard brand costs just as much if not more.
@@nugget7865 lol, I wouldn't even try to get a titanium ring, my gold ring will last forever and even if one day I sell my ring, the value is going to increase. Is this high tech titanium ring with features packed keep the value? How much of titanium they gave you in that ring? lmao. Let me know again k? I will continue to invest in gold. thank you~
@@nugget7865I don’t need features on a ring I’ll stick with my Apple Watch
Where's my hologram screen?
there are not only oura, there are other companies that are as good as samsung ( with smart rings) , but not as expensive. why does samsung think it can charge so much? i am a samsung phone fan and have a samsung smartwatch, but this ring , € 449,-- here in EU, sorry no !!!!
Very expensive for such a tiny thing smh
Yes, it's worth it. I have money to spare :)) samsung usually have big discounts and trade in options, so it's usually cheaper than original price. If you are the poor peasants, not worth it then.
