EXPLANATION-Superb video.Apparently the idea is that it captures the tiny dramas that comprise everyday life without explaining its characters' motivations, how they got to where they are, or whether they're interconnected at all. The somber figures populating this video's universe are experiencing intense emotions of despair, frustration, elation, companionship, a battle cry, “finding the little, tiny wars people experience in between the big dramas, stretched split seconds, graspable echoes."

The guitar in this is fantastic. I want to see it played.
She really does put on a killer show. I saw her at The Ryman in Nashville, which is an amazing venue, about four rows from the stage, right after this album came out. Easily one of the best shows I've been to, and I've been to A LOT lol. 10/10 would recommend.
Heard this on the radio while walking home in the Texas heat a couple days ago. It made the walk a bit cooler, crisper, and just better in general.
The rest of the album is SOLID. One of very few albums I can listen to without skipping a single song.
I could watch Warm bodies for years and don't get bored of it.

This is a masterpiece, watching on 2023 and this song is still a blast.

You'll be remiss to miss out on her other work. Been a pretty big fan since your era, she's phenomenal. Ditto Florence and the Machine for similar vibes. Feist is much more matronly, Flo is more stout.

I admit it too. I probably wouldn't have caught this song except that I had to sit through "Warm Bodies." Luckily, I always focus on the soundtrack and this music was probably my favorite part of the movie.

This video almost feels like a Coen Brothers short or something. Not exactly the direction I would've expected from when I saw the 1234 video on the iPod commercials, but this and the whole Metals album is a really pleasant surprise. Looking forward to what she does next.
