For those wondering, Cloaca is also an archaic term for sewer, if you thought the title sounded weird

Archaic words usually don't, but this is Falcom we're talking about, they love their old words. I haven't played Ys IX, I just figured it's a really large sewer.
It's also the term for the hole that birds excrete from. Falcom probably should have looked that one up first, lmao

I'm still waiting to play it as well, but Ys usually has some ridiculously badass track for Adol just walking through a field. XD This could be some generic map music.
We will have the game within Spring or Summer 2021 on PC. Switch has it already.
@@Hellwolf36 I ended up grabbing a used PS4 off ebay to specifically to play Ys IX. Now if it could only maintain a consistent 60 FPS.... yeah, PC gaming spoiled me ;-)
Well, I just got the game a few days ago at the beginning of the week, and this might just be one of the best entries in the Ys series so far. And I gotta admit, the field areas really remind me of Xenoblade, what with how ridiculously open they are. XD
