    Do you know the size of that screw that goes in the head? Mine has a stripped head because I've made this repair several times.

    I was wondering what’s the size of the screw, is it for eyeglasses? when I opened it there was no screw, and only the little metal crown thing. Maybe I lost it? Should I get an electronics screw collection of 500?

      I'm glad it helped, I was tearing my hair out trying to figure this out so wanted to make it clear for others.

    when tightening the screw of the tip, should it not move at all? like how 11:09 looked like?

      I don't think it is possible not to move without the housing offering external support.
      I was also wiggling it pretty hard.

    Great tutorial. One suggestion for you, next time it will be easier to put the thread locker on the screw itself, which also assures that it seals the threads and prevents it from coming out.

    i did know about the screw but the vibrator spacing is crucial for the mechanism to work as interned. works as new.

    where can i find the keys you used?

    • @TechWithYouVee
      @TechWithYouVee  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Monica, those keys are specific to a wireless wifi point but it's all I had laying around.
      You can use a flat head screwdriver from a precision screwdriver set. Even those cuticle tools you find in manicure sets, the ones used to push a cuticle back. Those are quite flat and narrow and can be used.

    You should put the thread lock on the screw, not in the hole...

      Did you insert the ribbon cable back in securely and clamp it down?

    Philips are so scumbags. On my toothbrush the screw was completely unscrewed wondering inside and fell off when I opened it. I already ordered a new one but now I will return it now.
