- Hi everyone! We are officially closed and moved in, this video is the end of the buying process but the beginning of making this beautiful 1989 model our home!!

You could also use the extra cabinet in the laundry room and all you would need is a countertop to have a table. If you decide to stack the washer and dryer

OMG!! Your home is gorgeous!! The kitchen cabinets color is EVERYTHING you hear me😍 You’re so lucky your closet is NOT in the master bathroom. Unfortunately our master closet is in the bathroom 😩 Oh and I love the floors too! You guys did a great job choosing your designs. I agree with one of the previous commenter that you should stack the washer n dryer. Perhaps put that extra cabinet that the builder left in the washroom and put a top on it so you could use it as your folding area. Enjoy that gorgeous home and TFS.

Beautiful house! I love your countertops that are included. Laminate is standard for our KB home and to upgrade to granite or anything else is a ton. We decided it would be cheaper to upgrade ourselves. Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see more.

We just bought a KB home as well! Its under construction at the moment 😃 makes me happy to see other happy kb home owners since i watched a video of someone having a bad experience with them and made me freak out for a sec there! Congratulations!
Any feedback you can give with the building process so far? I hear good and bad stories not sure what to do!

Beautiful! I can’t wait for ours to be done. We are building the 1707 model just south of Orlando. We chose a lot of the same things (design center) that you did, like the granite and floor options. I love how the granite looks in yours! I would love to see how the medicine cabinets look because we chose those as well and haven’t been able to see what they actually look like. Thank you for the update!

Congratulations 🎉 if you do decide to stack your washer and dryer then you can place the additional cabinet in the laundry room, possibly buy a countertop at Home Depot or Lowe’s for it idk? Just an idea. Enjoy!
I love that idea! I will have to take it back from my husband... I spoke too soon telling him to use it in the garage! lol
The back yard SLOPE was done on purpose to make sure water drains away from the house If you "level" it and water ends up backing up into the house all damage is on YOU, not the builder. NEVER change the lot elevation without professional guidnace.
Yes, unless the new owners want water in their home.
We have those same cabinet color being installed in our new build in Apopka by Pulte. I'm glad I found your video. This helps visualize this look since we originally went in thinking of going all white for our kitchen before the design center appointment. Do keep posting videos because I'm curious how the hardware will look. We chose a bronze look for ours.
edit: After reading some of the other comments, it seems you based this look on a model home? Is there a TH-cam video for the model you're referring to? I'd like to take a look. Thanks in advance.

@@aliciasooyee9709 hi beautiful house everything about it is nice me and the wife are closing on January is been a long process since May 5th do you mind if I ask for a ballpark closing cost number I’m stressing a bit as I read some people pay a lot and some other people not much I did go with KBHS home loans thanks any info is greatly appreciated
Congratulations! Absolutely beautiful floor plan and home features! I hope to be there in 4-5 months! They poured foundation last week and they should start framing - weather permitting! How long did it take for u guys from framing to pre drywall meeting? U can lays put the cabinets above the washer and dryer... it was an option for me at $690 for cabinets in the laundry room. How nice u guys got the extra cabinets- wow! Enjoy your home- exciting times for sure!
thanks, and congrats on your home too! How exciting, which floor plan did you go with? Looking at the pics I have, on March 25th we only had framing and we had drywall by April 9th. I really think we'll eventually stack the washer and dryer.. it make so much sense! lol
@@aliciasooyee9709 we have a patio home floor plan called “The retreat” from Meritage and got 2K sq ft since our oldest is a senior in college and our youngest will be a junior in HS. I have always wanted to move in a two story so I get to live out that dream since our next gone will be one story for our retirement. I am currently selling my home so will need to get rid of so much stuff! Originally I signed on April 6th and they started to build late May. While I would want to move ASAP, my house is not ready with all the junk and I don’t want them to slap my house together. Original move in estimate date was November. Now I am thinking, unless we have some delays,mid to late October? I am getting so anxious … my house of 23 years has accumulated so much stuff everywhere! Lol. Congrats again and I hope u have fun moving in and decorating your beautiful home! Love the kitchen cabinets!! ❤️👍🥰

Do they show you how to use your smart stuff like the ecobee? Your realtor don’t accompany you to the final signing? And how did you get your refrigerator and washer dryer delivered when you just signed for the house or was that a different day?
Hi! they did do an orientation before closing, during the final walk through. At that time they went over the features and things we should know.. it was A LOT of info! Our Realtor did come to closing, we were just early. The day after closing is when we had the appliances delivered, that's when I did the empty house tour :D

When your color blind and those “blue” cabinets look black😩your kitchen looks great…oh how I wish I could see the cabinets in the right way 😂

Yes, this is the flat white that was included. We thought about upgrading but the white has actually grown on me!
Were your floors in the bathroom and laundry tiles or vinyl?
Hi! We did tile in the bathrooms and laundry, but did the engineered hardwood everywhere else including the kitchen.
Hi, I put an offer on a resale home for this model 2019 built. I was outbided so I'm going for the new build. Did you use a realtor?
I used a realtor when I built I closed 2 week ago. I built with DR Horton it was easier than trying to compete for a prebuilt.

HI! Yes we did, toward buying the rate down. it didn't feel like much since we had to add even more to it!

The island looks big. I don’t think we have that size option in Colorado! Even for the double island.
