    Hey coach I got a question, my biggest strength is shooting and my weakness is attacking the basket and finishing, how much time should I spend working on my strengths and sharpening them (my shooting) and how much time working on my weaknesses (attacking the basket and finishing)??? Thanks.

      Depends on your age but great question. Id say more time on your strengths and then spend a little time each day to work on your weakness

      annecodote from me, but i just play for fun, as im much older lol. What worked for me was dribbling toward the basket, then, catch the ball and plant your two feet hard wherever you land, just as long as it's close enough to do a real low layup. Progressively overload by dribble quicker, then you will plant faster and more aggressively. This at least worked for me.

    I need to improve in my shooting, I'm a small guard and won't be able to attack the basketball as much with all the Bigs in the paint, I need a better 3 ball and and tough middies of the dribble.

      Get a great floater too, got some good full workouts on the channel for you to use to improve your 3 ball

    Coach when I am training, is there a specific skill I need to train every time i train? Such as shooting every workout even if I am gon do ball handling or something ??

    what can i do to improve my left hand finishing i mostly train by myself so i dont really have a partner to do live drills againts

      Would argue you don’t need to do much extra work for your week hand, add a couple extra reps for anything you do with your strong hand and you should be good

    Coach, I really wanna improve my finishing this off-season so I wont be seen as “only a shooter” when I reach highschool. Every time I drive to the basket I feel completely trapped every time. i try to mix up my gathers like a eurostep or a low pickup, but it just feels like theres a border in front of me when I try to do any of those, any tips?(14 year old 5’4 guard)

      Gotta be great at contact finishes (bumps and veers), gotta have a great floater and be able to finish away from your body (extensions) would check out my finishing course where we train all that stuff

      1. Eliminate Bad habits and friends (i.e playing video games 3 hours a day)
      2. Stop thinking you have time, you have one shot to go pro so go hard.
      3. Plan your days and weeks in advance so your workouts aren’t disrupted and you don’t procrastinate, be organized.
      4. Know what you want to do and do it, Get a goal and implement it.
