    Oh look at all the haters. Mad that Acura is the most reasonable choice here? Mad that it has the best resale value, and probably is the most reliable? Mad that the MDX would take this win easily if the reviewers considered what the consumer ACTUALLY WANTS AND NEEDS not what a car enthusiast wants?
    You all go drive your beat up corollas and camrys, you probably can't afford any of these cars but would still trash talk acura cause you know nothing better.

    OK! everybody listen, the MDX is the best car here without a doubt, back in 2014 when the new MDX came out, it murdered the Audi and Volvo and Mercedes and BMW so hard in technology. now the competition has cought up. but even the 2016 MDX beats all these cars in: reliability, resale value, insurance costs, price itself, and I'm pretty sure it's the only one that has been on the Nurburgring. plus, the 2017 MDX is now out to murder all these Swedish and German cars

    • @MarioPlaysGames

      Who the fuck made that retarded german car reliability myth? They are reliable.

      Comparing a Japanese car with a luxury, tech infested, German, amazing handling and supercharged SUV is stupid.
      The MDX is like a Walmart version of a Q7.

  • @dealzguyYT

    The guy driving the MDX has no effin clue of what he is saying... Acura has Comfort, Normal and Sport settings that adjust a variety of parameters. And all the Aholes cribbing about the stacked dual screen, no idea how annoying it is when Audi without the Virtual cockpit. Is when you need to access radio, media, make calls etc as the GPS vanishes till done. In MDX, the Nav is uninterrupted as it is on the top screen. I like how the Audi drives, own a Q5, but Acura is the best choice if you have to stick to 53K fully loaded Advance version. It discounts almost 5.5 K discounts even on 2018 MDXes.

  • @misterle7026
    @misterle7026 8 ปีที่แล้ว +42

    the MDX had a IDS button that allow to switch from Normal, Comfy, and Sport. Please do your research before presenting.

  • @baumiller
    @baumiller 8 ปีที่แล้ว +38

    She was using the MDX incorrectly. The lane keep only works after 45 mph or higher. She was experiencing the lane departure warning only. That works at 40 mph or higher. And finally, the adaptive cruise control resume button must be depressed after an automated stop. The vehicle will then resume its speed. Just an fyi to be accurate.

    • @misterle7026
      @misterle7026 8 ปีที่แล้ว +13

    • @TheVranac87
      @TheVranac87 8 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      +Alfonso Flores volvo is just 4k below audi in price, but audi gives more luxury,better ride, less noise. Why is the engine better from volvo? They got the same mpg, audis engine is even sharper in throttel response. Audis automatic braking is also very good, lane assist is evan better. For me Audi is the winner,its better in every test and 4k are not so much more when you have 66k for a car.

    • @VelarOW
      @VelarOW 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheVranac87 you're not even fully loaded on the audi, if you can get passed the styling sure, i guess. Anyway, that turbocharger and supercharger technology is a thing of the future, expect to see it everywhere. Makes a lot of power for a small engine.

    the q7 won by a land-slide in every comparison except being 3-4 thousand dollars more expensive which at that price is less than sales tax. q7 best cockpit, q7 only car whose lane assist actually worked around the corners... q7 most powerful motor, q7 best handling.... choosing the xc90 was an obvious appeasement of the psychological tendency of people to root for the under-dog. It would be like watching a race and awarding the gold to the 2nd place finisher because they "tried hardest".

    Wrong! The winner was the Q7; it has the best performance and handling, best tech, most luxurious, and better brand image. I can see threat you included the MDX in the comparison so that a Japanese carmaker could be in the mix, but the BMW X5 or Range Rover Sport should've been there instead...

    • @Slimecrazy234

    I've owned a 2016 Volvo XC90 T8 Inscription for a year. Although I agree on the luxurious looks inside and out, I've decided on trading it in for the Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI. The XC90 air suspension is far inferior from that of the Q7 - it's quite noisy and really lets in small bumps. The entire cabin is far more noisy than the Q7, even with the window isolation and the electric powertrain in the XC90. The 4-banger in the Volvo is really noisy and sounds like a lawnmower when strained - not a sound you associate with luxury and comfort. The Sensus looks cool at first sight, but is flawed by design for instance with missing ETA and DTD side by side, or a dedicated phone block on the front screen that isn't re-used for something else when the phone connects through Apple Carplay / Android auto, or a missing audible/visible signal when you run low on gas. I've also had LOTS of issues with the Volvo (noisy suspension, noisy brakes, loose interior parts, technical components malfunctioning etc.) All the things you don't dig up when reviewing the car for a day. So, when in doubt: trade the superficial good looks for the real quality and usability, and choose the Q7.

    This guy lied and does not know what he's talking about. The MDX has 3 different modes. Comfort normal and sport. The AWD system is the best on the market it can send 80% of power to one wheel. Can Audi do that? Nope. Also that all wheel steer is a Honda thing. The Acura TLX fwd version come STANDARD with all wheel steet. Acura is definitely the better buy. No one mentioned the fact that both of those vehicles are known for crazy issues and repair costs. The only thing the Audi has over the MDX is that screen. So the MDX YOU DON'T HAVE TO RESET IT. On the steering wheel you just hit the resume button and it will follow the vehicle from a complete stop. This video told complete lies.

      Alfonso Flores The station wagon styling make the Audi look more sophisticated, unlike today's body SUVs that all look the same.

      ***** Volvo build quality is extremely consistent. This isn't ford reliability we're talking about here. There's a reason why station wagons went out of style and it's because they're ugly, period. Poor r8 too, the 2008 one looked the best and the rest were really good too until this shitty design language came in. And the q7 was properly gorgeous with the headlight clusters and such until it was infected with the same language. Plenty of people no longer want the two because of it.

    Why did they even bother with all this testing if looks and design is the decisive factor? They could have wrapped it up in a minute instead of making a 13 minute video. Everyone would say that the Volvo is the best looking car of this bunch. It doesn't mean it's the best car. That is clearly the Audi.

    In other words,if you want high tech SUV with lots of space and good quality interior,Audi is the way to go.
    If safety,space and cool Scandinavian design are tempting you,Volvo is for you
    Acura..hmm..,if you like exclusive exterior go for it.
    For myself i would get Volvo. Reliability and safety wise is some shoulders ahead of Audi,Swedes know their way around when it comes to family oriented SUV"s.

    • @EIGHTLUG
      @EIGHTLUG 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In all actuality, the best Q7 was tested against the mid range XC90. Volvo has another trim level above the Inscription, that's the Excellence. You should look it up. I've driven both the Q7 and the XC90 Inscription, back to back. I put a deposit on an Inscription order that day.

    Bottom line, not everyone has the money for an Audi or Volvo. They both cost more than the MDX. Audi and Volvo beat the MDX in interior quality, but they both cost quite a bit more than the MDX. So, in VALUE, you get more for your buck with the MDX. Audi and Volvo have gotten better in reliability, but they WILL cost you a LOT more to fix, that is a FACT!!!!

    After lurking on the Volvo forums, it sounds like Volvo has ALOT of software/reliability issues. When I unload my wife's f10 550xi POS, it won't be for a BMW, or Volvo. If I have my way, normally aspirated Honda 3.5L cute little motor, GM 6.2L LS3 or a SRT Jeep with a 392 ci. Its going to be the wife's driver, so like most people that don't know shit about vehicals, she will most likely assume the euros are better and get another over priced POS that I have to drive for post sale shitty snooty over priced "service".
