After watched Josh video i gave that game a try. O boy,that was a mistake. I am badly hooked now cuz its almost everything what i always wanted of MMORPG :D Keep up the good work dude,cheers.
I've always really liked this game I played it for years and I have a lot of high standards for many games considering I play so many. I hope it sees a lot more players soon, it's still a very fun game even though it's older. The same way old RuneScape is still awesome. It's not going to be for some people but it's still really good game in general. I've always loved the old school RPG elements like you would find in Morrowind. And it's a massive world. Plenty of lore and there's always something to keep you busy.
nit picking about the atv at 9:00. "there's no reason why we couldn't hop on the atv and simply drive away" "you don't have the knowledge" how to start it, fuel shut off, choke, pull start, manual transmission, subtleties like pulling the brake lever to be able to engage the starter. oh, wait, they had pulled the plug wire off to keep it from being stolen. thank you for an excellent review of the game.
@@MarleMMO unexpected reply, thank you. i typed that before you finished the fight then "hopped on and drove away" to be fair, i was nit picking as well. assuming something is simple is too common. i'm watching a lot of these videos, reading forums, debating starting playing. long history of online MMO's from as far back as UO. but like everything, it's a time commitment. core group "about 50" should be ample. i'm just wary of bad communities.
This is an absolutely excellent game, very well made and faithful to a true RPG design. It's a tad clunky and janky, and occasionally suffers from weird quest-breaking bugs, but those are easily overlooked in favor of its stellar storytelling and game design. It's satisfying to do things in this game, gathering, crafting, fighting, questing. The game population has lately stabilized at around 50 concurrent players, which is quite small. A few of them are kind of weird, like they've been playing this a BIT too long. But most are friendly and helpful. Don't let the small playerbase fool you -- this is a good game. Josh Strife Hayes even said as much in his own review of the game earlier this year. EDIT: I will note that my highest character is actually a melee build, and it IS viable. I've got double cleavers and it's working out for me fine. Some players will say dual pistol builds are the meta and nothing else will work, but I haven't found that is true at all, at least up to level 14, which is where I'm at.
Watching now. Its funny, you always end up putting a video on something I just restarted playing. ESO, GW2, LOTRO, Gorgon, and this. Now, if you do Star Wars Galaxies private servers, I will also watch that haha.
