On 8th August, Snapchat reminded me that it had been 3 years since my medical school interview. I put a poll on my Instagram to ask if you guys want to hear the story and over 90% of you said yes. So here it is!🎉
I hope my story encourages you as it was not an easy journey, but we should learn to trust in God. He knows what's best for us❤️

Your University admission story mirrors mine. I too didn't get into my preferred program/Uni and ended up at UCC. Like you, I cried and thought God had abandoned me! But then shortly after I got there, the Lord began to show me why He took me there. I had such great experiences -- academic, social, spiritual -- that I wouldn't trade for anything! Without a doubt, the person I've become and the life I now have are primarily due to the training I got there, and the more I reflect on it, the more my heart fills with gratitude to God. I'm glad you are already enjoying your time there, especially in the Christian Fellowship. God never makes mistakes; may we all learn to trust Him and follow in His lead as we navigate life. Mighty congrats on your admission and many blessings to you!

To be honest I didn't expect this video to be this entertaining💥😀.....I like how honest you were by not trying to fake the fact that you didn't really want to go to UCC in the first place👏👏 .....I loved every bit of the video and to be honest you've made UCC med school attractive to me than it was before 🔥
You’re so sweet😍 and even though I’m not in Tech medical school as I wanted to be, I, being in Legon allied health has helped me grow a lot and just like you, I came here with little knowledge of the school and with only one of my classmates who is also in a farther hall from mine.
Our stories are very identical, from being “disappointed” by our results turned out to God’s will being done to stepping out of how I used to be in high school and being more expressive and becoming a better version of myself each day. I don’t know how I would’ve been at Tech where I’d still have the same people I went to high school with, but I believe it was God’s will and I’m happy things are working out just fine.

UCC Medical school is strictly fee paying ..Infact it’s the youngest public medical school aside UHAS…and they are the public medical school with exorbitant fees…most students choose leg and Tech…but there is kind level of training u will receive in UCC medical school that ur competitors in other universities may lack…very insightful and educative blog

I also gained admission from the medical school of UCC this year but they expect me to go in for an interview. I'm really getting nervous and scared as everyday goes by because I'm unsure of the questions to be asked.

@@aileendonkor1304 It was really tough, they use the +1 and -1 if you get a mistake. But it was quite okay for me just hoping to qualify for the interview. The results is going to be posted infront of Sam Jonah Library

@@aileendonkor1304 Ohh yeah I qualified for the entrance exams for the interview. The interview was held today and it went well by God's grace just waiting to see whether I will get admitted
Ohh don't worry what you just need to do is to pass your Wassce with flying colours. This year the minimum grade for med school was 6as and also with an aggregate of 08 so just learn hard and pass. Wishing you too all the best

I chose medicine as first choice and dentistry as second I think. And I’m not sure I understand the second question 😅

For the Graduate entry medical programme I think it’s over 20,000 I’m not so sure. It’s more expensive than the regular. I believe you can check the medical school site for confirmation

Cost of Tuition for incoming students
I wanted to make enquiries via the university’s SMS but the contacts on the websites are inactive. Any contact shared will be much appreciated.

GEMP is 4 years and the fees is about 25,000
Hhmmm, they gave me biochemistry but I wanted medicine hhmmm I don't even know wether to come to ucc or not but the other institutions de3, they didn't even give me something cool or nice but I will still wait for my last hope which is legon and if not I have to come to ucc.
Keep waiting and hoping❤️ and know that even if you do something else other than medicine in your first year, you could always reapply the following year. I know it means you’ll be set back a whole year but everyone has their timeline and you shouldn’t worry too much❤️ a lot of my classmates were like that, they did some other course for a year and reapplied and got medicine. I hope you still get it, but if you don’t, don’t lose hope, you can always try again🤍🤍
