    This was a very easy heart. Thank you for sharing! :) I've seen some people in the comments saying that it was not as easy for them. And of course not everybody will get it on first try. All I have to say is, if you learned the basics of crocheting and know how to double and half double crochet, then this tutorial should be pretty easy.

    These are wonderful. I needed even smaller hearts so I substituted the DC to hdc and the hdc to sc. And I started with a magic circle because I couldn't get the middle to tighten. I had troubles crocheting around the middle yarn with slip stitch beginning. Thank you for posting.

    Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but when I get to the end I cannot slide the slip knot to close the space. I tested the slip knot before I started crocheting, but when I get to the end it won't side at all. I'm not tugging extra and I;m keeping the tension even.

      Kiah Geleynse Me too!
      After she makes the 2 chains, she rolls them before working the first dc. It matters apparently 😊

    • @IAM369IAM
      @IAM369IAM 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I got confused too in my first attempt and later I found out that I was doing a slip knot (which is different from the Magic slip knot that she showed in the video). A normal slip knot won’t slide as a magic slip knot would. I’ve give it another go by following her way of making the magic slip knot and it works now. Good luck! Although this seems like a really late reply. Lolz

    I'm confused! Is the magic slip knot you mention supposed to be a magic circle? Or is this something different? I'm a beginner and I'm not familiar with what you did. I know everyone has different techniques but I just want to clarify as I can't find anything online that's called a magic slip knot. Thank you

    • @hannahbrown808
      @hannahbrown808 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pretty sure it's just a regular slip knot - that's what I used anyway, and mine turned out fine :)

    • @iluminameluna
      @iluminameluna 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Hanna Brown is right, it's a regular slip knot but it's being used as a Magic Circle, that's all it is. No need to get confused! Use it like a MC and continue! Happy hooking!!

    Good video, but as a crochet teacher myself I’d like to give one just small piece of advice. If you call a slip knot a MAGIC slip knot you are only going to confuse new crocheters between the two different ways to start a project- which are the MAGIC CIRCLE and the SLIP KNOT.
    Just sayin 😝
