I have a 2011 macbook pro I am only wanting to use to learn how to program and use as my primary computer. Do you recommend on getting on getting new mac. I found this computer on the refurbished website on Apple. Do you recommend this computer : Refurbished 15.4-inch MacBook Pro 2.5GHz Quad-core Intel i7 with Retina Display Originally released May 2015 15.4-inch (diagonal) Retina display; 2880-by-1800 resolution at 220 pixels per inch 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3L onboard memory 512GB PCIe-based flash storage 720p FaceTime HD Camera Intel Iris Pro Graphics and AMD Radeon R9 M370X
+Martin Patino This seems like a very similar model to the one which is unboxed in this video. I bought for similar purposes of learning to program as well as for personal and school use. I will say that this computer so far has treated me exceptionally well and I have no regrets buying it. If you are looking to buy a new mac regardless, I would recommend getting it on the refurb website. It will save you hundreds and have the exact same quality. the only thing you dont get is the pretty white box. it comes in plain ol regular cardboard as shown in this video. If its really going to set you back, it isnt necessary to have a brand new mac just to learn to program.
Great video
