- The Ruroc Atlas 2.0 VELOS has finally arrived and it perfectly matches my Panigale V4 Speciale! Here is my unboxing and initial impressions of the new Ruroc Atlas 2.0 VELOS motorcycle helmet.

Things I like about the Ruroc Atlas 2.0:
Color Scheme and design
Lightweight Carbon fiber
Overall Vision area
Fidlock quick release retention system
Things that could be improved on the Ruroc Atlas 2.0:
Could use some additional padding around the lower back of head area (felt a little empty to me)
The emergency pull tabs are very long and half to be tucked in every now and then
Not an entry level price point (price is a little on the higher side)
Not all vents can be manually turned on/off

I follow them on IG but I hadn’t seen that color before, that is sick!! I’ve got one of their 2nd gen snowboard helmets. Definitely a unique design here in the states. I like the snowboard helmet but have had some customer service issues with them since they’re still fairly new, are located in the UK and don’t have a dealer network at all. I’m holding off to get one of their Moto helmets cuz I got one of the Arai Ducati helmets last year and hoping they grow a little more to work out some of their growing pains. I’ll look for you around Tampa!!

I'm Asian, most of whom are round-headed, and EPS velos feels for an oval head so I feel cramped
I agree it does fit a bit differently than my Shoei helmet. Good to hear someone else has a Velos. Ride safe my friend!

I don't own an AGV yet. I have Shoei, HJC, Icon, etc. I wear pretty much a size small in all of them. If you're a medium, I'd stick with that size for Ruroc helmets.

I made an order over 4 months ago still have yet to see my helmet, AGV a real company I paid 1,000 I'm glad I did because i'd still be waiting for my helmet !
It took me awhile to get mine too. The company was backlogged from COVID-19. Also a lot of designs sold out the first few days they were released. Ruroc recently go a fresh batch in. Hope your helmet has arrived by now.

FirebladePilot I had a feeling that it was an alarm system. The helmet makes me think of a stormship trooper helmet, if it were all white and had the black visor lol 👍🏻🤓
