they always have the best lights at their shows I've noticed.
I like how each member has their own sort of style, Thom and Philip have a sort of hippie/high vibe, Johnny seems like an edgy teen, Colin just always looks happy to be on stage, and Ed is like that one cool uncle.

Radiohead is a band you don’t even need any drugs or intoxication for what so ever, the music is audio psychedelia. Pure art. You can indulge but it’s not necessary. Just put “A Moon Shaped Pool” on repeat, album is their perfect high water mark.

The only reason I didn't like creep was because I heard the backstory to why Yorke hated it, I felt bad that I liked a song he despised so much. It's a great song, and it's grown on me again. I just wish people wouldn't scream for it so much. It's not their best song of course, but it's pretty damn great.

I love how everyone is content in the background-- they're happy for Thom to get all the attention with his weirdness. Everyone plays multiple instruments; everyone hits their marks. Total professionals!
There are no passengers in this band. Every one of them is a musician of the highest possible order. They would not be the band thru are without any one of them. This is why the line up hasn't changed in nearly thirty years. Quite simply the best band ever

Why do shitty things happen when they play The Gloaming? I remember seeing them live in Argentina and the safety rails broke so the concert stopped for like 15 minutes. Guess what song they were playing? Of course, Gloaming

Ed O'Brien is the most underrated member of the band. His backing vocals often pull a song together at its most important part, and he's an exceptional guitar player.

Traveled from Finland to this concert. One of the loudest crowds, amazing atmosphere and wonderful people at the front. Used to watch this a lot when it was on TH-cam, I think this was one the greatest gigs at AMSP tour.

Whoever mixed this concert for broadcast deserves an award. I cannot stop playing it, even if I wanted to.
It's insanely good. Notice how he holds the mic at the end of karma police, like he just realises it's the last lyric but he wants to sing more. And then he comes back and the crowd is just tuned to what he plays and sings the end lyric again with him. I mean... Everything about this is legendary and so deeply warm

Thom's vocals sound so "free" here. It's hard to describe, but it's like he singing without barriers or strain, like he's untensed and opened up. That said, the same heart-tugging emotion delivery is still there in his voice, unchanged.
It's the same with Damon Albarn, no autotune, full emotion and they put their own twist into each song (in comparison to the studio version).
I realised that too. Opera singer here…. In the shows in the late 90’s and throughout the 00’s he was super tense, so many songs of rh are in super difficult ranges plus the transition between registers…when not trained enough by vocal coaches to condition the muscles one gets tense around the shoulder and neck so the larynxs goes up…. No control anymore…. Voices breaks, gets thin and shaky. Either way it’s catches me anyway cause he’s transporting every fucking emotion with his voice.

Most of these songs still give me chills. I remember the 1st Radiohead song I ever heard was Everything In It’s Right Place back in my freshman year of college in ‘01 and I was hooked. Went down a huge rabbit hole listening to Radiohead albums, singles, B sides... anything I could get my hands on. What’s incredible is their consistency. So many bands lose a member or two or have too many egos. Radiohead has had the same members from the jump.
Man this makes me want to see a Radiohead concert so bad again.
The egos!... One of the usual worst problems ever in a band. I couldn't be more convinced of that.
The structure of Bloom live is such a credit to Colins role in the band. It all sounds so discordant and chaotic; these pieces that you have but don’t know how to put together; till Colin starts playing and it just immediately introduces the foundation and glue to everything.
And in this live in bloom Is spectacular

Of all the magnificent live performances of this solo, this is, in my humble opinion, his most expressive and haunting performance. I have found myself returning to this concert regularly for years just to enjoy and marvel at this minute and a half of highest excellence in musicianship.

This was my first concert EVER!
I had just discovered Radiohead that year, in January or February, and started listening to every song obsessively until it became my favorite band. Then I flew to Berlin to see them.
It was unreal, I couldn't believe they were actually real and blessing my ears in that very moment. When "Burn the witch" started, I burst into tears and cried the whole concert. I've got goosebumps everytime I see or hear about this concert, oooh my god!!!

My husband and I got engaged during this concert!
He asked my to marry him and I said yes, and then the hole time we were really high from making the decision (and some other stuff).

I don't think the bass player gets enough credit. If it weren't for him, I would be lost in some of the songs. Him driving the song really helps and his fills are just simply brilliant. Paranoid Android is a masterpiece.

This was my first Radiohead concert. I was sharing a car with a random guy on my journey from Krakow to Berlin. It turned out he was also going because of the Radiohead gig. Forgot to bring water. Almost died by the end. Good times.

Were all in it together. We can love a band and then are proven to be one of many bonded souls when we witness this. Everyone is collectively overlapped as in the same in some ways as others. I also had a wow moment when I first listened to R live. I wish to go to one of their gigs sometime.

Ful stop is so underrated
Amazing song.
Ful Stop is one of my favorites by them. I love listening to the different ways they adjust the live EQ in these live performances.
AMSP is among my favourite albums and I never counted Ful Stop as one of my standout tracks but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. Maybe I need to give it another listen, because this live version slaps.
Definitely but nothing beats the live version when Colin goes off with that killer bass.
Thom dancing makes me so happy. Thom dancing to Johnny’s soul shattering solos makes me nearly weep with joy.

It was quite hot that day. Absolutely worth the wait! I threw out my back dancing and cried tears of joy and pain the whole train ride back! Man, their concerts stick! Listening years later my spine still dances.
Man I remember binge watching all the concerts when uploaded.
Now a year has passed already.

This was STUNNING. Reckoner, Bodysnatchers, Street Spirit, Present Tense, Nude, Weird Fishes and Karma Police were the standouts for me personally but wow - the band is in amazing form here.

It really is - Is that a regular thing to end a Radiohead concert? I was impressed at how quickly the crowd was all singing it, before I could even tell that Thom was playing the same song. What a magical moment that was.

@@MrJagermeister Not to end the concert, but it is a regular thing to do the sing-along parts whenever I've seen them play Karma Police.

Love to the energy that is Radiohead, did not catch me in their wave until Kid A and Amnesiac, been riding their waves ever since. The live versions are awesome at this event.
This was not “just a concert” but a life experience. I swear I witnessed a strange, mental connection of the crowd.. Something was pushing us up in the sky💥 So lucky that I was there - so lucky that we live in Radiohead timeline! A million thanks!

This version of Creep is gorgeous
During creep at 4.12 minutes a young ladies face in the audience is captured, and also during another part of the concert. While I spent every night during covid year’s watching Radiohead concerts every night, the look on this ladies face of pure admiration will stay with me for the rest of my life . ❤

So many skills from playing guitar are translatable to other instruments!
