I really dislike that curtains are locked behind constructing room add-ons. Not everyone wants a giant house. I don't mind having to work towards getting stuff, but not when it forces me to mess up my home. I didn't see any fix for the Ormuu rugs either. On a plus, the Aurora Peaks Landscape looks beautiful.

The Landscape... They really do stuff i wished for years on other games. Im so much of an realistic player and loooove when the surroundings are changing seasons too.. they did a smart move with the plot landscapes. Its expensive yes.. but threre always people like me :D i will use it every year fot the rest of my palia days

I started ranting about how it's not clear if we're actually getting new colours or not, but seeing as the update should allegedly be ready in about 15 minutes, I guess I'll just wait and see 😂 I'm very confused by the "Room To Grow" thing - I thought that was an early game housing accomplishment, but it's not even coming up on the wiki? Unless it's a new accomplishment that will be added retroactively... I hope. I don't wanna spend all my money & resources building houses when I could spend it on curtains and furniture! I'm also very concerned that there's still been no public mention of the Xmas rugs being uncraftable.... they can't possibly NOT know, right? Bleh. Anyways, new curtains! And we can finally change the colours of stuff, WOO HOO! 🥳
SO.. if we take the wording as it is. I think it's just those furniture sets that are using these tints. Which is not great if it is... I also would like to know if it is retrospective. I mentioned in our partner discord about the rugs 😥
@@Fleurs_ Well, on the upside, the achievements were retroactive, the curtains are great, and it's wonderful to be able to recolour most of the furniture now, even if some of the choices (the Shore colouring gives the summer stuff white stripes and not blue???) were a little weird. And the Christmas rugs work again! Thank you for mentioning them! ❤ BRB, going out hunting to get enough fur to make 8 million of each in case they break again... On the downside... the bait & switch on the new colours has made me pretty furious. I was holding off on spending any more money on Palia until they fixed, or at least acknowledged, the rug issue, but now the colour thing has turned me right off. I half expect them to attempt to gaslight us like they did with the snail plushie - "Oh that wasn't a black & white colourway, that was just, uh... a glitch in the processing of the animation... uh... LOOK OVER THERE!" IMO the change of wording in the Patch Notes between the At A Glance section and the actual "Tints" section shows they knew exactly what they were doing. I don't think I've ever "officially" complained about the game, but I will be over this. Bleh 😓
I've never heard of these game boards! I'm playing on a Switch so not sure if that makes a difference? I also have no idea how to join these cooking parties I've heard of. I feel I'm missing out a bit on some elements of the game. :-( Has the new patch fixed the bug where we couldn't open the bundles in the Night Sky Temple?
The new plot landscape is just lovely but the price vs value is rough. I'd love to support the game with shop purchases, but the pricing is terribly inconsistant and is often far too pricey for what you get compared to othet games that I play. ☹️
Snowballs are currently causing a flashbang effect on players. This is terrible for people with epilepsy and photosensitivity. Do NOT encourage people to throw snowballs at players. It has NOT been fixed.
So disappointed. Another update that's a money grab. For long time players this offered nothing unless you're all about decor. TBH definitely not impressed by the curtains and gameboard. There's no more quests. So no reason for me to log on every day. I'm hoping the Elderwoods will be an exciting addition. I loved this game for so long. Sad to see the lack of input except for premium items. Not investing any more into this game until they give us more to do. Just my opinion...
@@humbledaisy People would buy a lot more if the playable content had been updated more often. For so long now there's been long periods of time when there's nothing to do for long-term players. I know I stopped buying stuff because there's no point having all the nice outfits etc if you're only logging in for ten minutes a day. It's a shame they didn't manage that better.

maybe you can do it on a another plot so it does not destroy your house and with this you can also achieve the gazebo (with mote plots) 😊

I just logged in since the update. It counted my previous built rooms so I was able to unlock all the curtains automatically
You made a good point about this being a sort of filler update: that's a good way to look at it! Very excited for the Elderwoods next year ^-^

So they didn't fix the snowballs glitching... They still make a huge flashbang effect when someone gets hit and they're the unlucky one.

no, there is a farmer and a kind of cows but nothing you have on your plot
Can't wait to see if we get farm animals in the future updates.i myself want something like dungeon crawling to get treasures 😊
