DCUO DPS Ally Guide (2023 Updated)

- In this video I discuss what Allies to use in general, certain stand out powers, and different builds for dps of all powers.
Damage ally aoe
Shazam
Batman who laughs
Superman
Batman
Death metal Batman
Boss st damage ally
Krypto
House of legends bot
Dps combos support
Stat and/or crit buffs: Batman who laughs (luck of draw) +Shazam (power of shazamily)
Supercharge spam: Emperor aqua man (seaside restart) + static shock (electric overcharge)
Crit buffs: Batman who laughs (luck of draw) + static shock (electric overcharge) especially if you can get lucky to have the crit buff from Batman active to pair with static
SC generate and crit spam:
If you power has a viable sc generator like how nature uses theirs with or without this ally then black Adam (power of aten) + static shock (electric overcharge) OR Batman who laughs (luck of draw) for all around
If pet dps then Emperor aqua man (hear my call) + Batman who laughs (luck of draw) for all around OR static shock (electric overcharge) for more controlled crits
If more burst based power (like atomic) or loadout build then death metal Batman cloak of erasure is viable since next 6 hits gives you a good damage once BUT if you can get sc off multiple times then Batman who laughs (luck of draw) + static shock (electric overcharge) will be best bet
If nature
Poison ivy (empowered spores) (must have) + Batman who laughs (luck of draw) for all around OR static shock (electric overcharge) for 5%ish dps inc that you control OR Shazam (power of shazamily) for 1-2%ish dps inc controlled OR since dots stack with hit counter Batman (from the shadows) is viable
BUT black Adam isn’t the most viable atm rn since you wouldn’t over supercharge spam since you need the forms and the loadouts with them

Appreciate it bro. Ya Batman who laughs paired with static can give highest damage potential and seeable parser but aqua man can give you that total damage increase if you are on top of it so pick and choose essentially

I have a question as an elec healer. Is the Static Surge (Static ally) passive worth using together with Transformation Card? Is the stacking gives much improvement in heal if any? I appreciate if someone who tested it would let me know. Thanks
It is worth it but in more practical uses you could just drop transformation card or static because both work well together but aren’t always necessary. You may be better off using static as your ally while freeing up an artifact slot for optimal play.
So it looks like there’s only one spot for an alley but you can have three how do you have all three do stuff? Do you have to swap them while you play or they just do it automatically?
You manually swap them or you save different combinations in your armory
How does the batman who laugh card cooldown works? If i get a card does the cooldown start ticking? Or does it needs the card buff to expire then it starts ticking?
Cooldown works just like our powers. For example, you hit your weapon buff, it buffs you now and cooldown starts now, the same is for allies.

For passives that use "stun" as an activation like the bots power regen, do knockdowns count as a "stun" or does it have to specifically be labeled a "stun"?
Things that actually stun or incase from what I’ve seen so far. I haven’t seen it trigger on just knockdowns but have seen a stun then knockdown back to back triggering it
@@Treyortj_ i appreciate the reply, it's just 1 of those things that's hard to test, I'm sorc and have a lot of knock back but not really any stuns other than consumables, I started back in 2013 and stopped when top cr was around 175 and am just now getting back into it, trying to learn all these new systems is a little overwhelming

Your information is a little flawed buddy, if Batman who laughs card pops up and you have Shazam going it overrides whose name it does not stack, allies stack with artifacts using them to together is like rolling the dice yes it helps if you get the crit but if you get the might then you override Shazam while it's up so it's a luck of the draw literally but hey did you actually try it or tested or do you make videos without actually testing.. 🎉
All my videos have in depth testing before posting them, and everything I said in the video stands true still the main to ways you should be using you Allie’s for is either buff might/precision or buff crit or some mix of the two for the most optimal dps. You can clearly see the ally’s that buff your might if you quick go into your inventory then tab over to your stats. Batman who laughs is random which can be a problem in certain situations if you want to capitalize on it which is why I said in the video if you want or need more control over your buff then use these other Allies together but if you can get Batman who laughs plus Shazam or static you will do the most damage within that buffed time.
So what 3 is good for electric dps ?
Krypto for boss single target and Batman for AOE (normally obsidian chill is right about the ally damage) then support I like to use luck of the draw from Batman who laughs and electric overcharge from static shock. Hopefully you get both increase to crit chance or crit chance pair with stat buff.

Honestly I would use Batman who laughs card for buffs and pair with zatana similar buff support ability
How do we get support allies?
You can buy them from the in game vendor cyborg in the house of legends for source marks, from vandal savage in house of legends for loyalty points, or from the marketplace that’s able to be purchased with real world money
