Like he's amazing with women and talks smooth as fuck but every now and then they just have him do something weird to seem autistic. Even funnier considering my little brother is autistic so we know what it's actually like
Can you explain to me what autistic really means? All the vids and articles ive found dont really explain it well. To me it just seems like just a socially awkward, blunt person.
@@juniorsanchez7441 sure man - it’s a developmental disorder that is highly varied so it’s hard to nail it down, however there are a number of characteristics that suggest asd (autism syndrome disorder). Mainly, autistic people NEED routine and react negatively to changes in rhythm - this can be the way objects in the house are arranged (my little brother will get upset if the taps on the sink are facing the wrong way). A lot of autistic people struggle to communicate or speak, which means sometimes they will have a meltdown and their family have no idea what triggered it. Meltdowns look very similar to a temper tantrum but the difference is they are not their fault - they physically cannot deal with the stress caused by the situation and may resort to smashing things and screaming. Some are very intelligent and struggle due to self awareness, but can live independently like in the film - others considered less intelligent may have more “direct” issues integrating with society and may need to live with a carer. Either way - it’s a poorly understood group of disorders and because autism isn’t a noticeable upon a glance , many people mistake it for poor behaviour and naughtiness. I had no idea what it was before my little brother was born, I still use “autistic” as a joke or a name that I call my friends - but it is a serious condition and I’ll have to look after him for the rest of my life now. There’s a video here that shows a kid similar to my brother - he isn’t being rude or ignorant. @@juniorsanchez7441 "To me it just seems like just a socially awkward, blunt person." Thats what all the light cases look like and what most kids you meet with it have, but its much more than that. Autistic people lack something called "Theory of Mind." Theory of Mind is the ability to imagine what someone else is thinking, and normal people do this so easily they have no idea this is even a concept. Let's say that you live with someone, and this someone likes cookies. They have a cookie stash of their expensive Pepperidge Farms, and they savor eating one when they come home. Then lets say you eat the last of the cookies, and just as you finish the cookies your housemate comes home. You know that your housemate will immediately see the cookies missing and get pissed. An autistic person will not realize this intuitively and be caught off guard. This is a bit of an extreme example but some autistic people are this bad. Another example is that an autistic person can't fathom that anyone would not like Sonic the Hedgehog. Understanding what other people feel is really hard for them, and they fixate on things other people don't give a shit about, and reading between the lines in any social situation is impossible without lots of work. Autism comes with a whole host of other weirdness but theory of mind is the big one. Some can overcome this by just working really hard to pantomime being normal and some don't.
"Stavros, what are you doing? You're going insane!!" "No! I must find it! The secret to the stock market and the true name of God is hidden somewhere in these pies! I must eat them all to know the truth!"

And yes, I think we do tend to be quite happy to use violence when someone has behaved in an unacceptable way to us.
