Ingredients:
250g butter （牛油）
55g （1/4 cup) caster sugar （细砂糖）
6 egg yolks （蛋黃）
6 egg whites （蛋白）
105g (1/2 cup) caster sugar （细砂糖）砂糖
250g (2 cups) plain flour (普通面粉）
1 tsp baking powder (发粉）
1/2 tsp vanilla essence （香草精）
50ml milk （鲜奶）
100g（1 cup) toasted walnut， copped （烘香核桃，切碎）
60g chocolate rice （巧克力米）
Bake at 170°C for 40-45 minutes
以170°C烤40-45分钟

Hi, I tried ur previous recipe the coffee walnut layered cake but it turns out to be dense. Was wondering could it be mixing the butter and ingredients for too long with hand mixer?

By the way, I think I left my butter out for too long before starting, so, it was rather over-soft. So my cake turned out though nice but not as soft, but it's not dense too, thank God. :-)

U can use Chocolate chips. For me I use bitter sweet chocolate chips

I bake it today and i feel that chips is better than choc rice, if chips I can taste more of the rich chocolate texture. I just plan it next round put chips instead of put chocolate rice

@@ninabourbina2298I bake it last night,. I feel like if put chocolate chips, the texture of the cakes will be more nicer than chocolate rice, because I can eat with rich of chocolate chips, this is my preference suggestion 😊
