  • Opposition leader Peter Dutton has announced his nuclear plan.
“The Prime Minister has no vision for our country because he can’t manage the government day-to-day,” Mr Dutton said at a media conference on Wednesday.
“We know that the government has a renewables-only policy which is just not fit for purpose.”

The Dictionary defines TREASON; “Treason” is when a person acts against his/ her country. ... A treasonous person is called a TRAITOR! Nuclear is also extremely expensive, and at a dead-end around the world. There was just ONE new reactor construcion start last year outside China (IAEA reactor database)
Every single western nuclear project over the last 20 years (Sumner, Vogtle, Hinkley C, Flamanville, Olkiluoto) has had major blowouts in time and budgets.

@@tassied12 Saying nuclear power is not viable because it costs too much or it's to dangerous are tired and dead arguments. If Australia wants affordable electricity well into the future meaning the next 100 hundred years nuclear is the way to go and any party who has the balls to give it a go I'll vote for them.I just googled this:About 60 reactors are under construction across the world. A further 110 are planned. Most reactors under construction or planned are in Asia.New plants coming online in recent years have largely been balanced by old plants being retired. Over the past 20 years ,107 reactors were retired as 100 new ones started operations. Today there are 440 nuclear power reactors operating in 32 countries. Many countries with existing nuclear power programs either have plans,or are building new power reactors. About 30 countries are considering planning or starting nuclear power programs. Hopefully Australia will be one of those countries. ✌😃

France which enjoys 70% of it's energy produced by nuclear reactors, and charge just AUD$0.32 per kWh. Australia which gets approximately 70% of it's energy from coal and gas charges between A$0.25 and $0.45 cents per kWh depending on what state you live in. So Labour trying to tell us that nuclear is expensive is talking bullshit to us. Also nuclear reactor's do not take too long to manufacture. China has just completed one in seven years and it is online. The Modular reactors are small and would not take too long to install. Labour and net zero needs to be thrown out and let reliable solutions be put in place.

My only gripe is, will this end up being lip service as is standard operating procedures (SOP) of political parties prior to elections…
    “OR”
Will this be actual, and followed up and implemented!!!
My question now is; will this only be for the east coast or will it be rolled out “AUSTRALIA” wide and be distributed too all parts of the country, including remote locations like northern Western Australia, Central Western Australia, Northern Territory, Northern Queensland etc etc???
    Never to be sold!!!
Too private or foreign concerns ever; this is the mandate that must be adhered too and maintained regardless of what government is in power in the future…
The next issue is health; why are there no major hospitals / training / teaching hospitals located in the north west Western Australia, northern Queensland etc, where people in Australia are closer to overseas major hospitals yet are forced travel thousands of kilometres for any treatment…
The infrastructure is already there, just a matter of upgrading that infrastructure to a standard that city people have daily…
The majority of Australia’s wealth comes from these areas yet governments local state and commonwealth rarely if ever put funds back into the communities in these areas…
I for one would love to get up in the morning have a coffee ☕️ then spend a few hours traveling for a scan, probe, ex ray etc then head back home to catch the evening lightning storm… instead along with any one else in these areas I need to plan accomodation flights meals etc for something the rest of Australia have no understanding of not too mention the trauma that is forced on us by going to areas we would never choose to live in…
Come on uncle Pete n DLP…
    Come on Aussie come on…
