I was in a semi accident back in October of 21. I’ve been complaining about my collar bone left and right. I broke my t2 c6 c7. They’ve done X-rays of collar bone but I don’t think they understand that this is what’s wrong with me. It’s kind of a struggle to swallow when laying flat on my back. It also feels like there’s a 5lb anchor on my inner collarbone pulling it down into my body cavity. I’ve also got severe rib pain but that’s further down, anyone else going through this? No offense but doctors now a days are useless so I have to do everything my self

The second doctor visit was voluntary. Knowing that something was severely Wrand not as they said it was. Good luck if you have a clavicle injury, most doctors would rather get paid and tell you it’s fine and go on to the next patient rather than really look into it. Glad you finally got it identified good luck to you.
I feel like I have an injury of sternoclavicular joint because every time I sit up straight or stand up straight I feel pressure at the top of my sternum or the side of it on the side of the left pec,
Just recently I had to go to the hospital because I felt the medial end had moved more inwards in my throat area. The discomfort it cause me is second to none, the pain is always apart of the discomfort. My first “dislocation” or “tear” whatever you want to call it happened about 5-6 years ago. I was doggy piled upon (when everyone jumps ontop of eachother) and my arm was extended out from my body and the left half of me was stuck. My head was turned to my right and I tried to pull out because it was too heavy under there. Anyways as I pulled away my whole body had shifted right but my left arm stayed put, as there was weight on top of it. I’m thinking as I tried pulling away a few times my clavicle had just gave way. I learned to live with the slight discomfort bht a few days ago it had gotten worse. All because laying on your stomach tends to irritate the already irritated position of the collarbone. All those years I spent time trying to figure out what was wrong. I got into the investigation and nothing. Hopefully my GP tomorrow gives me some good news and the whole investigation starts again to help solve this problem. Because I can’t sleep, swallowing is becoming hard and the slight numbing is becoming a thing.
How are you hun? Did you get help ? Did you also noticed it caused you to feel like you couldn’t digest food properly, and it would kind of get stuck at the bottom of your throat near your clavicle and then have a hard time burping? That’s my issue ! No fun!

Aesthetically, my right collarbone sticks out more at the center area of my body. I am guessing this is the cause of my numbness on my thumb, index , middle finger and top area of forearm.
I've had mine for 4-5 years now. First doctors I visited told me my body would get used to it and that its no cause for alarm. However when I try to exercise I feel pressure around the area and a feeling as it if may snap any moment. I think mine in anterior based on the symptoms however I did have some trouble swallowing initially when the injury occured (stretching in bed at 3 am with my arms out wide, can you imagine). Other than that, I dont have reduced movement or pain in day to day activities. I do have back pain which may be unrelated and I do have discomfort in my shoulder blade which may be related? After going to the doctors for a 3rd time they've now put me on the waiting list for physiotherapy. I'm unsure whether this will fix the issue after so long.
@@muph8467 So I received like a 40 min slightly painful massgae to loosen the muscles in all the area. Her explination was that the injury caused all the surrounding muscles to do more work. So over the course of 4 sessions we would aim to relax the area (I've been given streches I have to do everyday to strech pectoral and shoulderblade muscles) and then proceed to strengthen the area so the joint and ligament can slowly get pushed back into place. I've had 3 sessions so far. Haven't started strengthening yet but the osteopath has given me a list of exercises that I can and cant do. I expected them to just push it back in place but she said the idea was to avoid it hapenning again too. I must say it still isn't in place but the whole area in generla feels a lot looser and better mobility. After she removed all the knots my muscles had and with the stretches I've been doing it does feel good. But I'm not done yet with my treatment so idk
