That's what I remember. We sold off 90% of what we owned, prior to moving to the Caribbean. My tiny crock pot was part of that. 10 years later, my husband sees a tiny crock pot at a yard sale. He wants me to buy it, despite having no lid. He reminds me of that cheese dip I used to make. Not once has he mentioned it, but just the sight of that little gadget brought it back. I hope they still make Velveeta.
Perfect.. She luvz dips especially with her chips... She puts them on white rice also... Yes she's weird... She likes to have fun 😂 Thx for another amazing recipe 😀
It is. I edited the original and retitled it to broaden the scope of viewer searches. The other was titled “Crock pot…..”. Thanks so much for watching. Good eye.
Richard my good friend, great recipe, my wife send you that ?, lol, just like hers & sometimes she adds can of rotel's maters to the mix. If folks can find the brand " on the border" tortilla chips they are the best bagged chip I've had & if you can find those small size rye party loafs bread, spread the dip on them place on a cookie sheet & bake 350 F 10 minutes, delicious, Richard, I'm addicted to that dip you made
@@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN good man, good man, how did I miss the rotels?, you can get the " on the border" brand in triangle chips or scoops, I prefer scoops also as I can get more dip in them, lol
Just any brand of heavy cream. If you don't have that you can use half and half or milk. The higher fat content the less chance of curdling. Thanks for watching.
Richard, sorry, saw the velvetta, saw the Jimmy Dean, I must have looked away to light a cigarette, missed the rotel maters, watched again, it's there, my bad
This is a certified hood classic in my family. It's so delicious it's hard to not crowd the slow cooker and stuff yourself on chips and dip.
Yes. I usually eat too much of it myself. Thanks for watching.
@@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN OK, let's get practical. As the night goes on, the dip thickens. What do you do?

Good story. Yes. They still make it. Thanks so much for watching.

Thanks for watching.
Great recipe! Looks like a shortened version of your sausage con queso dip you made a while back. Thx for sharing my friend

My former colleague made it this way. The sausage truly adds lots of flavor. I loved it.
Truly it does. Thanks so much for watching.
I’m curious as to how you came up with your channel name. So cool!
@@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN Hello Richard. I initially wanted it to be a channel about low impact exercise and keto friendly meals.
Oh ok. Sorry. I’m not much into keto as you can see. Thanks so much for watching.
@@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN No worries, Richard. I love southern comfort foods which is why I love your channel so much.

Thanks. It does have Rotel in it. I like the tortilla scoops for this dish.

Found this randomly but just wanted to leave a like and comment because you seem like a lovely fella. Best wishes buddy.
Thanks so much.

Thanks so much for watching.
Finally! Someone who adds milk to get the right consistency! Velveeta is too thick without milk.
Yes it really is. Thanks so much for watching and taking time to comment.
Nothing better ☺️

@@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN thanks pal
I use Tennessee Pride sausage, much better quality than Jimmy Dean. Too much gristle and grease.
Thanks. I’ll try that.
