Great vid Spencer .... and your delivery is superb, like many of your compatriots, so fluent. Over here there is wayyyyy too much errr, ummm, you know, kind of!! Brilliant also that you have such positive views of Britain and The British. Do keep comin' back!!
Hey just found your vids, glad to hear you enjoyed your trip, got some suggestions for your next one - less touristy ones. West Midlands: (my neck of the woods) Birmingham/Solihull/Coventry/Leamington Spa/Warwick All of those are quite close to each other so really easy to do a couple days there. Birmingham is our second largest city - always something going on/ to do. Solihull is a posh suburb of Greater Birmingham area - fancy shopping centre, relaxing with some nice pubs. Coventry is fairly boring, however bit of WW2 history with the Old Cathedral, also War memorial park hosts Godiva Festival (Music) in summer. Leamington is just a chill town with lots of restaurants/bars and beautiful park. Warwick is famous for Warwick castle (functional medieval castle- if you are into that). Hidden West Midlands Gem: Shrewsbury - famous old market town near Welsh border - very pretty. In the Peak District: Buxton is probably the most beautiful little town I’ve ever seen. Expensive but worth it. East Anglia : I’d recommend Cambridge obviously Further south: Reading is a nice, or Bristol if you want a coastal city. That’s my two cents hope it helps: I’m also sure others will vehemently disagree with me XD.
"Not necessarily bad trouble, but fun trouble", exactly! Trouble you might regret temporarily but will give you a story to laugh about in the long term.
Spencer, I'm enjoying your UK vlog. Well done for not following the herd, or throwing money at your trip. 👏👏To be fair, when I was a kid, my grand-parents boiled vegetables within an inch of its life. UK TV chefs helped change minds. I'm glad you got to Beamish. My Mum wasn't a "museums person", but she enjoyed it. Durham City is lovely in summer. Please visit York; full of history, and a world record train. I've posted the next part elsewhere, but that might get lost in the hundreds of comments. Other tips for low-cost meals, when you come back to the UK are: Aldi, and Supermarket cafés. 1) If you are staying somewhere with a microwave oven, you might get food from Aldi ①. Their "ready-meals" are cheaper than take-away and better than the average take-away or low-cost cafe. The packaging is plastic, and not metal foil (unless there's a real oven). Aldi fruit is cheap. No meal-deals, but their low-cost sandwiches are cheaper than some supermarkets meal-deals. 2) Supermarket cafés full breakfast: typically bacon, sausages, egg, tomato, baked beans and toast. Most let you trade, eg replace baked beans for toast. A full breakfast with tea sets me up 'till dinner, and might not be much more than a meal-deal. You do need to do some research though to find them in easy to reach places, and good value. On this, your fans can help you. Best Wishes. ☮ ① Aldi, unlike most supermarkets, are quite small, and nearer city centres. My nearest Aldi is 15 minutes walk.
Nah, too click-baity. Plus having fallen into the trap of Only doing UK content on my reaction channel I don't want this channel to fall into that same trap
The People's Republic of Yorkshire look forward to welcoming you, also every decent sized town in Britain has a thriving live music scene for next time your here.
Outside Every Foundry Steel Mill .Cotton Mill .Coal Mine infact any industry including Financial or Press you'll Find a Drinking Establishment. In Britain its Sancrosanct.
"The beatles were one of my first introductions to British Culture, right along with Harry Potter". Stop fooling yourself Spencer - Harry Potter isn't an example of British Culture. You'd get more of an impression of British Culture by watching "Only Fools & Horses", "The Last of the Summer Wine", "Open All Hours" or even the soaps: "Coronation Street", "Emmerdale" & "Eastenders" than you would from Harry bloofy Potter, which bears no resemblance to British Culture whatsoever.
Stop with the pretentious bs, Harry potter is every bit, if not more, an example of British culture than everything you mentioned. Being older doesn't make something more British and thinking it does just shows you have a very dated and narrow minded view of what British culture actually is. Reading every discworld novel will give you a better understanding of British culture than anything you could comprehend.

Also near a church, and often named the "Ring of Bells". (naturally)
@Kevin-mx1vi a Nod to Both whisky and the Peel of Bells 🔔? Perhaps.
Did they let you get away with that mullet?
Hi Spencer 😊
Burger and steak is probably the only thing fresh in spoons.
I've not seen any Americans touring England come to plymouth!
9 months time 😂😂😂😂😂
Great video except for No1 - cant stand the Gallaghers or Oasis.

Hello 👋
It seems that you did not see anything of our beautiful countryside. Neither did you see anything of southern England.
