As a science student i can understand what he is saying .
His take on music is that
There are dopamine receptors in our brain which when trigger they cause the release of dopamine ( actually happiness harmone in a broad sense) This is normal
But any addiction including music
Increase the need of dopamine
Example, if for a man dopamine serge was 10 , after addiction it's 50 and it will change continues
As a result will effect his body.
He is also trying to say
If body needs more dopamine
That means man should listen music now with more altering wavelengths.

Saying music is haraam is wrong cause Islam has no indications clearly towards this being haraam. In hadith there are many occasions where music and musical instruments are encouraged, even your qirat needs to be in surr. Yes if it has elements which are haraam, defined by Quran makes it haraam. So saying music is haraam is the same as saying Alcohal is halaal.

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 4020 - This hadith is classified as weak by some scholars but still used in discussions on music).Narrated by Abu Huraira:"The Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'In my Ummah there will certainly be people who permit zina (adultery), silk, alcohol, and musical instruments...'" Imam al-Ghazali, reported several hadith and came to the conclusion that music in and of itself is permitted, saying: "All these Ahadith are reported by al-Bukhari and singing and playing are not haram." He also references a narration from Khidr, wherein a favorable opinion of music is expressed.
So the above interpretation show Music permissible. Others interpretations say Haraam. Therefore this falls into an unclear category. It is not clear. And Allah SWT says his Irshad is clear. So it’s NOT an order from Allah SWT. You understand now Brother ??
