    By far the most inaccurate reportage … everybody outside Mexico fails to understand and explain - to begin el mayo is one of the original capos years before el chapo even rose to fame - el mayo/ señor de Los cielos/ caro quintero are the original Sinaloa cartel later pased to el chapo since all were in prison or under radar … which would explain the deal ocres back in the 80s with Durazo and the armed forces etc …

    • @maddogminer8648
      @maddogminer8648 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes.. they also fail to menyion a lot of things. They focus on the day el mayo was caught and now and fail to relize the rupture in the cartel had been featering for a lot longer. I would say as far back as when el chapo was still in prison in mexico. When el mayos son tried getting el chapos sons killed using el menchos cjng cartel when ovidio was celebrating in mazatlan. That betrayal is where los chapitos decided to go against los mayiza. But first they had to get el mayo out of the picture to leave only his sons around.

    Al Jazeera baffles me, they do everything right in terms of Gaza, outstanding reporting however outside of that, is just conservative and anti left propaganda, especially on Latin America, its really bizarre. A case like this requires an actual national of Mexcio that has reported on this, not some what sounds like a white British expat, there is millions of Mexican reporters, it wasn’t hard to get one in the show.

    • @miro.georgiev97
      @miro.georgiev97 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      For whatever it's worth, John Holman has been reporting in Mexico and Central America for years and has 15 years of reporting experience total, so they probably selected him as a guest for that reason. It's safe to say he's not _just_ "some what sounds like a white British expat." Yes, he's British, and he's most likely living at least half the year or more in Mexico, but that doesn't preclude him from being informed on the region in which he's reporting.

    • @ericktellez7632
      @ericktellez7632 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      @@miro.georgiev97 and I can name you over 20 names of fellow Mexican reporters that have been covering our country for 30 years or more. if it’s our country it should be our people that should be given the opportunity to validate their work. What is this using faces from Europeans that move to Mexico City and pretend to study what we live and die for every day, he has a family and roots somewhere else he can leave, our journalists and reporters can not. Their voices are worth it and should be elevated more.
      Why do I see Al Jazeera using Muslim people reporting about Gaza and Israel but they can’t use the natives of this region? They managed to get a British from thousands of miles away, surely they could’ve contacted an actual Mexican that has sacrificed much more than some European.

    • @coldmexican288
      @coldmexican288 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      We all know there are thousands of brave reporters/journalists in Mexico doing god's work but John Holman is the Al Jazeera reporter based in Mexico so it's not out of the ordinary for this outlet to use their journalist. I agree that they should probably use local people for more accurate and detailed reports though.

    • @miro.georgiev97
      @miro.georgiev97 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ericktellez7632 To answer your question, Al Jazeera is ultimately most interested in the Muslim and Arab world, so it is easiest to find local journalists from the area to do on-the-ground reporting that caters to its main interest. The further the subject is from that main interest, such as Mexican drug cartels, the less investment is devoted to finding local talent to do that kind of work. Al Jazeera does have Mexican and Spanish-speaking journalists (which includes Holman, by the way-I've checked out his Twitter, and more than a few of his posts are in fluent Spanish), but it's possible they're not interested in that aspect of Mexican life, which isn't to say they aren't interested in other news coming from Mexico. Mexico, unfortunately, has a very negative reputation, and it might be the case that Al Jazeera's Mexican journalists don't want to reinforce this reputation via their reporting, instead taking on other assignments that they hope will give a different angle on this complex country.

All the President does is take orders and deal with the press and other nations on behalf of the cartels.
