Re: the $50 last-day soul stone deal. I believe the word you are looking for is “scummy”. If they had announced the bundle from the get-go so that people could make an informed decision about buying energy and pick bundles during the event, it would have been fine. Announcing opportunities to get them in the future *now* (again, coming only AFTER money has changed hands) would only add insult to injury as far as I’m concerned.

I missed your gripe session, but yes. It was definitely a "Slime Move." If you spent considerable amounts of money (to get enough of her for 6 star, you would spend an almost ridiculous amount of money or luck), you might get Lara Stones up to the level. The final bundle, while it might have been beneficial (Frankly, it was $65 at the best to get her to 6 star), was just sort of a scummy move after so much spending occurred.
Additionally, at this stage, if someone were to join the game today? You would not actually be able to get access to her expedition for the foreseeable future, with an assumption that Lara could be available later. My prediction will probably be 6 months to 1 year from now. The FAQ definitely implied HEAVILY that new players would not be able to get Lara, which means new players would never be able to get access to further activities within the Airship. This infringes anyone who joins freshly to the game, which may impede new acquisitions of the game.
Something will likely be done to 'fix' this eventually because the oversight will result in potential loss of new revenue, but for the time being there is an active, aggressive FOMO methodology in their marketing strategies.
For me? This basically upholds my tactic that I basically only buy 5x emeralds and Nature Season (And Valkyrie). All other seasons are of no value to me at this stage and I'm willing to slow burn my way through flags. At one time I was a regular spender, but now that is significantly reduced. This will probably persist for the rest of my time in the game, however many years.
I wonder what Nexters' break-even point is for the Lara Croft collaboration. Was the 300 soul stone package a list ditch attempt to break even or were they just milking that cash cow for all it's worth?

Well here's hoping we do eventually get those promised extra chances for those that got Lara, but I am already not holding my breath on it being IMMEDIATE, knowing how Hero Wars likes to operate. Let's be honest, it's not gonna be immediate before any other new thing or event, we know how they work.
It should have been a red flag since they didn't bother to do a live stream with Daniel to promote the Lara Croft event and to do giveaways
that was a business tactic to make money... cash grab
