shame these songs didn't get much radio play back in 1994. R. Kelly, Tevin Campbell, Jodeci, Silk, Janet Jackson, Babyface, Brandy, and Chante Moore were crowding the airwaves then. little to no room sadly. wish this got more promotion and exposure then.

Jamie Foxx really can sing, but trying to cross-over from comedy was risky & nervous, and this album felt like he was (good, but nervous) at if the people would take his music career seriously. Also, I think this is another example of where "higher grade" Producers could have made a huge impact working with someone of Jamie's caliber. I swear, I thought that I was the only one who actually bought that (cassette), but I knew he could sing, especially from his (Mary Mary quite contrary...) song on his Comedy special, which you have to check out, and I always liked to catch him on a variety of (Talk shows) where he would sit at the piano and sing something original, and blow people away!......Good reaction!
