I was there too, but I feel sorry for you if that was one of the best you experienced, despite it being a terrific atmosphere I could probably name 30-40 better atmospheres, maybe even 50! That place is sorely missed 🥺!
Two funny things about night was first the 2 Chetski fans who celebrated Vialli’s goal whilst sitting the BMU, then suddenly realise the mistake they made got out of dodge a bit lively, well one of them did and he went straight down the stairs and didn’t look back, the 2nd though decide as he got to top of the stairs to look back at the West ham fans and raise both his arms in a victory salute not seeing that he was being tracked by every pair of eyes in the BMU. The WHU supporter sat at the row in front of the stairs in the end seat help the young man go down the stairs but he went head first as he was quite violently shoved in the shoulders! The 2nd was when Hughes fouls Julian by climbing in his back to equalise the smug Chetski tossers, sorry players, getting the smile whipped of their faces as Kitson nodded in the winner! Great Day wish we stayed at home though!

I was there that night, the atmosphere was one of the best, if not the best, I ever saw and felt at the Boleyn.
