    I never thought about an airplane or other mode of transportation being their to keep me safe. Hearing this has changed my outlook on traveling. Thank you

    Considering enclosed places such as airplanes as a place of safety has changed my perception and attitude toward those places. Thank you for real help.

    Omg hoorah.after last weeks horrendous episode with an MRI I've finally found out why I am claustrophobic!. I jumped in a pool as a small child and had to be dragged out coughing and spluttering! I didn't think it would be this ! Now it explains it! No wonder I had the bad reaction in the MRI, I felt like I was being crushed and couldn't breath! Thank you Nik and Eva...I'll work on this now. 🙏

    I have issues with airplanes and elevators. I did have difficulties with a swimming lesson when I was a child where somebody held my head underwater. That and being Locked in my bedroom. I think looking at it this way is a place of safety Verses Not being safe will help Thank you.

    it's interesting isn't it how a person's perception of enclosed spaces can change. As a child we can be frightened of an enclosed space for example if a sibling has locked us in a cupboard or tries to cover us with a duvet for a joke, or we can find enclosed spaces exciting if we're playing hide and seek. In both scenarios the enclosed is neutral and just exists and has done nothing wrong, but it's the meaning we give it based on what happened to us in the moment. Excellent work as always, thank you.

    I have claustrophobic for 15 years. I really want to get over this. Especially elevator and toilets. What if I die when I get stuck, like a heartattack?

      I have same fear but
      by constant meditating on this scripture I am able to face all my fears and always come out victor. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Tim 1:7

      These are all classic symptoms of claustrophobia

    But, what if your claustrophobia began as a result of the entrapment of pregnancy and a prolonged and difficult vaginal, forceps delivery that caused facial stitches, head trauma, etc.?

      Hope once you’ve watched our film, that you can agree you were not trapped as you got out, therefore you were just inconvenienced. When you change your perspective positively, your feelings will follow and change positively too. Good luck x

    Do you have any tips for getting off my really bad fear 😨 of being Kidnapped. Please

    • @nikandevaspeakman
      @nikandevaspeakman  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The way to deal with any fear is to identify, analyse and then challenge the origin. Understanding why you believe this and challenging that belief is the most effective way. If you find this difficult to do yourself, you could seek therapy so that the therapist can assist with the positive change of perspective.
