Either its a camel or it was made by a modern architecture during renovation/maintenance, it can be verified with appropriate tech. Its foolish to think its dinosaur.
According to Puranas, each kalpa consists of fourteen Manvantaras, and each Manvantara is headed by a different *Manu* (the first Man of every cycle). The current universe, is asserted to be ruled by the 7th Manu named Vaivasvata.
In Vishnu Purana, Vaivasvata, also known as Sraddhadeva or Satyavrata, was the king of Dravida before the great flood. He was warned of the flood by the Matsya (fish) avatar of Vishnu, and built a boat that carried the Vedas, Manu's family and the seven sages to safety, helped by Matsya.
Total age of universe is 311.04 trillion years (human years).
Current age is around 155.521972944 trillion years.
How it is calculated:
-> There are 4 ages on earth which keeps circulating:
Satya Yuga - 1.728 million years
Treta Yuga - 1.296 million years
Dwapara Yuga - 0.864 million years
Kali Yuga - 0.432 million years
Total: 4.32 million human years.
-> This yuga cycle is called maha (in english, it means great/big) or divya (divine) yuga. One thousand such cycles forms one day of Brahma. So one day of Brahma is 4.32 million * 1000 = 4.32 billion human years. Each such day of Brahma is called a "kalpa". His night also constitutes 4.32 billion human years. During his day, life exists in universe. In nighttime, no form of life exists. So one complete day and night has 8.64 billion human years.
-> Age of Brahma is 100 years. Each year of Brahma has 360 days and same number of nights. Thus, total age of Brahma is 360 * 100 * 8.64 billion = 311,040 billion human years. i.e. 311.04 trillion years. This period is called "maha kalpa".
-> The life span of the universe is one "maha kalpa". i.e. 311.04 trillion human years. This time span is also the duration of one breath of "Vishnu". When he exhales, thousands of universes emerges and one "Brahma" is born in each universe. When "Vishnu" inhales, all universes get sucked and Brahma dies.
-> This cycle is non-ending and eternal. Thats why "Vishnu" is considered eternal in Vedic Science (or religion).
How much old is our universe:
-> Note that the period of Satya Yuga is 0.4x, Treta Yuga is 0.3x, Dwapara Yuga is 0.2x and Kali Yuga is 0.1x where x is the time-span of one maha-yuga cycle. I will use 'x' as 1 maha-yuga cycle subsequently.
-> In 1 day of Brahma, there are 14 "manvantara" (Manu Avatar). Each "manvantara" is divided into 71 "maha-yuga" cycles. So total make 14*71 = 994x (mahayuga cycles).
-> Remaining cycles (1 day of Brahma contains 1000 maha-yuga cycles) are used to fill gaps between manvantara. Before and after each manvantara (called as "sandhya" and "sandhyamsa" respectively), there is a junction of 1.728 million (age of Satya Yuga, or 0.4x) human years. Total number of junctions are 15 (since there are 14 manvantaras). So total gap period is = 0.4 * 15 = 6x. Hence total makes 1000 maha-yuga cycles or 1 brahma day.
-> According to the Vedic texts, current age of Brahma is 50 Brahma years and 1 brahma day (we are in the 1st day of 2nd half of brahma)and we are in the seventh "manvantara", in the 28th turnover of its 71 yuga cycles. In this cycle, we are in the start Kali Yuga. Age of kali yuga is not known perfectly but it is around 5000-10000 years. For calculation, lets assume 8000 human years.
-> So current age of our universe (in terms of maha-yuga cycles) =
(50 * 720 * 1000) -- 50 years * (360 days + 360 nights) * total no. of cycles in one day/night
+ (6 * 71) -- 6 manvantara each of 71 maha-yuga cycle
+ (7 * 0.4) -- 7 junctions or gaps for 6 manvantara
+ (27 * 1) -- we are in 28th cycle of 71
+ (0.4+0.3+0.2) -- In this cycle, we are in Kali Yuga. Satya Yuga, Treat Yuga and Dwapara yuga are 0.4x, 0.3x and 0.2x respectively.
+ around 8000 human years -- very small, so ignoring it.
Thus total age = (36,000,000 + 456.7)x = 36,000,456.7 * 4.32 million = 155,521,972.944 million years = 155.521972944 trillion human years. Now add the age of kaliyuga. i.e. around 8000 human years. One we calculate the exact age of kaliyuga, we can know the exact age of universe.

According to Sanatan Dharma (Hinduism), we are in the Kali Yuga of the 28th Chaturyuga of the 7th Manavantar. There are total 14 Manavantars and each Manavantar has 71 Chaturyugas and each Chaturyuga has 4 Yugas. The four yugas are Satya Yuga (it is of around 1.7 million years of length), Treta Yuga (it is of around 1.2 million years of length), Dwapar Yuga (it is of around 860,000 years of length) and the Kali Yuga (it is of around 400,000 years of length). We are in the 5,120th year of the current Kali Yuga.
Edit: To everyone watching this, after calculating I found out that this universe was created exactly (yes, exactly) 1,960,853,120 years ago....

Regarding existence of temples 65 million years ago, I have a wild theory. Maybe information about the dinosaurs were given to builders by a time traveler, which may have included photos of them. There are theories about time travelers out there. In this case the theory fits, if such people existed.

If we believe the concept of yugas and the number of years in every yuga....even Rama and krishna were born millions of years ago, and as mentioned in the vedic texts that in satyuga, dvaparyuga and tretayuga people were strong, bigger and more intelligent than the modern humans of kaliyuga...and we can see their intelligence and advanced technologies through these carvings.

Indi, check our time lines mentioned in ancient Hindu religious texts. It will blow your mind. Good idea to read the Rigveda. It is composed in Sanskrit, written in poetic form of more than 45k verses in certain fixed metres like the Gayatri chands (or Gayatri metre). A word of caution though, of all world literary heritages, "modern scholars" have vilified India's ancient Hindu religious texts the most. Their aim was and is to destroy appreciation of these sacred texts. You must to read about Macaulay's children and Brown Sahebs before starting your long journey into the Rigveda. Yes you read it right, it is a journey. My advice is to read translations from Indian authors published by reputed Indian publishing houses. Don't go for the penguin version. Good luck. That's clearly a camel not a dinosaur and that's not a stegosaur but a rhino and those plates are actually flowers and a creature can't be considered a stegosaur if it doesn't have any spikes on its tail infact the spikey tail on stegosaur made them a different species of dinosaur

9.25 the carving you see is sastha. The guardian god. Born to the Shiva (destroyer) the foremost and Vishnu (protector). He is also known as ayyanar. The god who reappears as ayyapan. Interesting to find this in Hampi .

I read Erik von Danikn's " Chariots of the Gods "as a kid and was so intrigued by the theory that the gods could be an alien civilization. Hindu texts are full of unexplained mysteries like the flying chariots and a weapon that could destroy all life forms on the planet . I believe we haven't scratched the surface of these very plausible explanation to much of what appears to make no sense if you were to buy into the Darwinian theory of evolution. Thank you , it's nice to know somebody thinks along similar lines.

Now that I read a post below I noticed something interesting. In Christianity , we have the tale of the great flood where noah builds an arc , a ship if you will to preserve plants and animal species , along with his family , when he was told about the flood by some angels. In Vishnu Purana a post below mentioned similar thing happened where God told manu about the flood and he saved his family and the seven sages. If you have seen ancient alien videos , you must have seen that it was told that lord Shiva during the flood helped humanity by building an underground place to live under the ellora caves.
Many religions have many similarities when it comes to Gods like Thor the god of lightning in Nordic mythology and lord Indra in Hindu mythology.

How do we know today that Dinosaurs did exists? We know by fossil bones and impressions in rocks. Same thing is possible that the temple carvings time people discovered the fossils and carved those re-imagined enimal in the temple foundation level. Another possiblility is those enimals did exists at time the temple was build and it possibly was seeral thousand years ago. We know 350 BC Bharat (India) had flurishing kingdom of Mourya dynesty. These temple could be from that time.
