I honestly think it was a good choice, Ama is already known enough from both her YT and v tubing (I didn't even know she was v tubing up until recently) so it makes sense she doesn't need to audition and take the spot from a different girl.

Her merch troubles and sponsorships deals are getting hard to handle for her and this prompted her to make the decision. As LeeandLie / Amanda Lee has such a large public image, this would have taken quite a long time to settle her contract as compared to Geega. This year and a half of cooking compared to Geega's less than a year is what Vshojo is praised for. Never backing out and pushing through the deal. All of this was conveniently masked by her scuffy mess streams that not even ZENTREYA knows about this deal. And to top it all off, she further masked her debut as a CHIBI MODEL DEBUT.
