I read once that for every person who took the time to write or call their Representative it represented the voice of 15,000 people. When it comes to animal protections most of Congress crosses party lines (unless of course they are being heavily lobbied by the cattle industry).
Hi again TAWNEE & JASON PLZ READ!!! ...checking off another from my suggestion list to you a while ago and I'm so proud of you getting into action! The wonder in your voice Tawnee was so terrific as you realized yes your voice your story and experience can make a difference. I know from where I speak in a different arena but know all on that list are things I learned and used to get the support and cooperation necessary to make change. The hardest part is getting started but now keep your motion going forward in all avenues and I can promise you success is within your reach!! You'll get tired on occasion but take good care of yourself and pace yourself. That list is packed full but take each one at a time and as things advance all will get easier. One huge request I've had and had to deal with also along the way is get horses removed from under the AG classification! That's a big one!! God bless as you go forward with a big job to do but as I said you both are the ones chosen to take this on and I fully believe in my heart this is your time to do so. God bless you both and I will look soo forward to updates along the way. Go big!!!

"We didn't know/understand about this before" That's the problem with many lawmakers these days, they are outside of these situations looking in, never had experienced what was actually going on in the world outside of their offices. Unless they will be willing to listen, it would continue to be difficult to get out life saving laws like this not only for animals, but also people as well
