Is that burn spot damage common with this model? Mine has the same burn spot in the same place as the one in the video.

I've had mine for 10+ years and no burn spot. I just have lines starting to go across the screen now.

Any advice for the LCD plastic lock? I broke the black lock on mine and sent it for a port repair. It broke in half when I tried closing the lock, not when lifting it up.
