I really like your voice :-) some reviewers talk very loudly and just a bit too... energetic. It's a pleasure to listen to you

Thank you! I've always been told I have more of a monotone voice but that's just what I grew up with haha

Outstanding review! Excellent execution! Do you think the passenger side has comfortable leg room for folks who are 6’ or maybe 6’4”?

      Thank you!
Generally passengers get a bit more space than the driver.

From what we can see, Mercedes has built a very large space for the legs under the steering wheel and if you were to sit in the seat correctly, i.e. at the right distance from the steering wheel, in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Highway Code - that is, the elbows should be properly bent at an angle of 45 degrees, holding the steering wheels at the height of an hour 9-10 am and 2-3 pm. Your position behind the steering wheel is incorrect, you are sitting too close to the steering wheel and your elbows are at a very high angle, which is dangerous, especially in an emergency when you have to react quickly by turning the steering wheel of the car, which in your case will be impossible and you will cause a traffic accident. As we can see, you are not a trained mechanic and your comment is whether 600 KM in a car whose weight with passengers and luggage exceeds 3.0 tons is correct or not? This engine power will be needed to prevent the car from being involved in an accident in the dengerous situation.. Too little power, it could be too little and the car would not be completely out of trouble. And that's the truth, because the engine's power is not just about driving it quickly, but also safely. Therefore, I would like to ask you not to comment in the future on what engineers all over the world are doing to improve safety on our roads, and if someone does not know about it ... please do not speak about it ... Good luck

Take a look at this video from Porsche as racing driver Patrick Long talks about the best driving potion. th-cam.com/video/hb9CUaYgklc/w-d-xo.html
His chest is closer to the steering wheel than my chest is at 8:13. Of course we have different size proportions as do a lot of other people. My legs are longer than my arms so if I moved my seat further back, my arms would be even closer to being completely straight (as I said in the video). The steering wheel was already in its most outward position. Plus I don't have an issue with protruding starter buttons in a Range Rover or BMW or Audi. I'm not complaining about the safety of the GLS but rather the placement of the starter button.
As for your second comment, I don't understand what you're getting at about the engine's power. They make the GLS with less powerful engines too.

John, you totally need to get laid. Now, if you could just tweak that less than winning personality of yours, and put yourself behind the wheel of this beautiful and expensive super-Mercedes (to pad the bet a little), you might just accomplish that.

@@desmondburnet6940 I just intend to buy such a vehicle, mainly due to the reasons that this car offers in its safety, which I wrote about previously. I look through the mass media of various information about this vehicle, mainly due to the safety of the driver, but also other road users . Whatever you had in mind when writing to my e-mail, let it be your thinking only ...

@@MGReviewsBlog Hello M.G. Of course, you may have reservations about the location of the starter button. It's like we would talk if black color is more suited to this vehicle or white. For me, the most important thing in my speech was and is the safety of a given device (here, a car). I'm a huge fan of all kinds of rallies or Formula 1, but I don't know Patrick Long. It is true that in this film he is way too close to the steering wheel. Where does it come from. The way you hold the steering wheel while driving has changed over the years. Today, in all driving courses, it is promoted not to take your hands off the steering wheel, even during large steering maneuvers. Until a few years ago, no one used it, drivers often drove the car with one hand, with the other holding the gearshift on the stick, because automatic gearboxes were not used in rallies or car racing. Therefore, often drivers sit closer to the steering wheel than they should for safety reasons. The rule has been simple for several decades, and this Patrick also clearly said about it. Keep your knees and arms slightly bent while riding. Why ? If we were to straighten our leg while pressing the clutch pedal to the end, then during a collision from the front, we would involuntarily lean against the floor of the car and straighten the leg 100%, the leg would crush our pelvis and damage our joints in the knees, as is the case with our hands, we seriously damage our shoulder. With bent limbs and hands, this does not happen. And that's the truth about the way you sit behind the wheel. Anyone who does not believe in THIS should test it in the car and drive it with the steering wheel very close to the chest and away from it to the height of an extended arm (wrist) on the top part of the steering wheel.
As for the second part in my previous e-mail, I also meant security. The more power any vehicle has, the safer it is in the event of unexpected emergencies. This is a rule that no one can challenge. The fact that companies sell such vehicles with engines of different power is mainly due to economic reasons, not safety, because no one is able to say what power for a given vehicle would be the safest. Car manufacturing companies are driven by ... profit. The more he sells, the more he earns. Therefore, all companies sell their products in different colors, with different gadgets, with different engines, etc., etc.
Regards M.G., I think now you understand my meaning from the previous mail ...
