. Fars province is a region in Iran that has a rich history and culture, as well as a diverse natural beauty. Here are some of the places you can visit in Fars province:
      - **Persepolis**: This is the ancient capital of the Persian Empire, built by King Darius I in the 6th century BC. You can see the impressive ruins of palaces, temples, and tombs, decorated with reliefs and sculptures. Persepolis is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous attractions in Iran².
      - **Nasir al-Mulk Mosque**: This is a stunning mosque in Shiraz, the current capital of Fars province. It is also known as the Pink Mosque, because of its colorful tiles and stained glass windows. The mosque was built in the 19th century and has a beautiful courtyard and prayer hall².
      - **Tomb of Hafez**: This is the mausoleum of Hafez, one of the most celebrated poets in Persian literature. He lived in the 14th century and wrote lyrical poems about love, spirituality, and mysticism. His tomb is located in a garden in Shiraz, and is a popular place for locals and tourists to pay their respects and recite his verses².
      - **Eram Garden**: This is a historical garden in Shiraz, dating back to the 11th century. It is part of the Persian Garden UNESCO World Heritage Site, and features a variety of plants, flowers, and trees, as well as a pavilion and a pool. The garden is a symbol of paradise and a place of relaxation and enjoyment².
      - **Shah-e-Cheragh Shrine**: This is a religious site in Shiraz, where the tombs of two brothers of Imam Reza, the eighth Shia Imam, are located. The shrine is famous for its dazzling interior, covered with millions of pieces of mirror and glass. The shrine is a place of pilgrimage and worship for Shia Muslims, but it is also open to visitors of other faiths².
These are just some of the many places you can visit in Fars province. You can also explore other ancient sites, such as Pasargadae, the first capital of the Persian Empire, and Naghsh-e Rostam, a necropolis with rock-cut tombs and reliefs. You can also enjoy the natural scenery, such as Maharloo Lake, a salt lake that changes color depending on the season, and Lar, a mountainous region with waterfalls and forests. Fars province is a place where you can experience the history, culture, and beauty of Iran. I hope you find this information helpful. 😊.

The final bit of the video brought tears to my eyes. A very genuine and heartwarming interaction with the old man in his garden and even the two little kids. The kids first asked where you were from and then discussed helping you visit the tomb of Cyrus. Thanks for sharing this experience with us. I hope you get back all the positive energy you give to the world.

That cone shaped structure "Ice Palace" you saw is actually a refrigerator. It was probably made over 2000 years ago. In Winter people used to put huge amounts of packed ice and snow inside of it and people used to store their meat, fruits and pickled stuff inside of it and generally ice would last to the next winter (about a year)! Really cool technology the way they are constructed inside, they are huge inside and have nice insulation and believe it or not usually a big opening on top for ventilation . Obviously people do not use those anymore. Did you know the Windmills were also invented in Iran? They have an ancient one in south of Iran. BTW, based on the route that you are taking you are only seeing a very small part of Iran and country has many different areas that look different and have different climate, altitudes and temperatures and building types. But you are smart to travel in the warm season as you and you bike would not be able to go to a lot of parts due to snow, ice and rain and how quickly your battery would run down in the cold and you would definitely need warm handle bars. Definitely, go to the North of Iran (Ardabil, Gilan and Mazandaran provinces (about a 1100KM long trip) and you be shocked, in the North it is very green and they receive a lot of rain twice as much as Netherland! Flying Drones in Iran can get you in trouble, but ask an authority (Police, Military, Revolutionary Guards or Basij Militia and if they are OK with it you won't get in trouble, but photographing or filming of anything with police, military or militia insignias is a No No. The good thing about Iran is its people if you need any kind of help, just ring a doorbell and people will go out of their way to help you, including help with directions, places to see, or if you are hungry or thirsty or use a rest room or even a place to sleep. People are generally very trusting and very helpful.

He was the king of one forth of the land on Earth ( the biggest territory to date) and human rights were first introduced by him. He was the only king who paid workers and didn't slave them Anciant Times. Age of tree: the way it's measured is by injecting a small diameter cylinder into the trunk to take a core sample. Then the small diameter cylindrical sample is analyzed for number of layers across. That determines the age very accurately.

The hate we see around the world needs a lot of help that we cannot mortally solve on our own, but your adventures are one good part of something that can be done in humanity to make the world smaller or rather closer. Sometimes even though it feels lonely, you can take it in steps per year. Meeting people and children reduces the separation people feel from others who are just like them. We truly can help people see others as they are themselves and love one another. Thank you for taking time to do that. Hope you can continue to take many on good adventures and in small or larger ways help people you meet.

He felt powerful feelings of peace, accomplishment, happiness. It's difficult for him to exactly describe what's happened.
So don't be afraid. Go head.

Dear Marc, yet another amazing video. You have a gift in storytelling! The only thing I would like to add and maybe put into perspective a little bit is, that the war you are thankfully addressing going on right now, is not a war on Israel, but sadly and this is the hard part we shouldn’t forget, a war on a little small oppressed part of the world we know as Palestine. With beautiful people facing a genocide. I know you are not a political channel and this is also what keeps your channel true and in its way, an escape and place of calm for a lot of people. I too don’t understand hate as a concept, I can relate and emphasise with your word and thoughts. But we should look at such horrific events from the point of view of the oppressed, chased and endangered. this makes them feel heard, keeps them surviving another day. Never forget, each of us has a voice, especially in hard times which can disrupt our own freedom in the long term. It is such a luxury some of us have, to move freely on this planet. A pure heart wants to share these opportunities with as many people as possible. You are already doing parts of this, by sharing your adventures and making people dream! The next step, maybe someday, would be to keep these dreams alive, protected and in our collective consciousness - to never forget them. Purely positive thoughts and on another note, I am excited to see you progressing on your fantastic journey! Cheers mate ❤

Great series. I was born in Iran but live in Sweden since i was 6, and love following your trip. Your positive attitue, but at the same time also very grounded one is so cool to see. The "Ice palace" is a yach chal (ice hole) and is the oldest fridge in the world (in farsi we actually still call modern fridges "yach chal"). As I understand it, it helped people to store food also in the heat of the desert and can prevent ice to melt. It's essentially a hole in the ground (i think) but the circular pyramid helps the air do something so the temperature keeps cold year around. Keep it up!

I did notice you had a few near misses with that truck and the kid on the bike that nearly pulled out on you.
Stay safe and carry on. 👍😎

"Once you know the growth factor for the tree species you are trying to age, you can do the final calculation by multiplying the diameter (13.05 inches for our white oak) by the growth factor (5.0). The resulting number is the approximate age of the tree, so in our case our white oak tree is about 65 years old".... I had to copy and paste cause I didn't understand it but that's how u measure a trees age without cutting it down to check the rings;)
