Congrats bro. Hope you are still clean. I will have 10years this November. It’s amazing how great life can be compared to what we thought was cool in addiction.
2005 my dad bought his first Harley. I was deeep in to the WCC and biker build off. That’s also the same year we took a camper to the Laughlin River Rally as a family and I saw my first pair of hooters.
In 2005 I was headed to Marine Corps boot camp. 19 years later still doing it and getting ready to retire so I figure out what I wanna do when I grow up.
5 years after the best time of my life in the USAF in 2005. 30 years old and also when I bought my favorite Crown Vic of the 3 I have owned / a 2000 LX with the digital dash 🤙🏻🇺🇸
2005 I got my first roadbike, 05 CBR600RR, the day after i got my licence at 21. I'd only ridden dirt bikes till going for my licence. Did the test on a vt750 Shadow that I scraped pegs around the first corner somehow.
In 05 I was 20 and had just returned to Colorado from living in Hawaii for 2 years, after framing houses for that summer I bought my first Harley, a ‘96 xl1200
So 2005 I was 35, worked for Verizon in the collections call center for home phone. Yes, I agree, it doesn’t seem like that long ago. The hardest work I’ve done was in 95 I worked in the press room at wabash national. I was on a metal shear cutting 4’x8’ sheets of 1/4” steal (500 pounds/sheet) for semi trailers.
In 2005 I was living in Alexandria Minnesota,my oldest son was 2. And I was bagging 50 pound bags of a product called benifiber for 12 hours a night on second shift at a place called Northern Food and Dairy. Shortly after I started my welding career and have been welding now for almost 18 years. 🤘🤘🤘
In 2005 I was building Case farm equipment and had been at that employer for about 3 years. Also by that time both of my sons had graduated from high school. Yeah, I was in my early 40's
put ohlins on a 09 super glide custom a couple months ago. hardware situation was also fucked. ended up getting a decent configuration to work but it definitely didn't go on the way it says it would.
In 05 I was living near a shit town called Dexter, Oregon, driving truck long haul and raising a 5 year old and a 2 year old. I was riding an 02 Road King and an early 90s KLR 650. I still have the Road King. I’ve worked mills pullin’ the chain and in the woods as a topper, a faller and a choker setter.
2005 I graduated from Auto Collision Repair Tech school, now I do Industrial Maintenance and work on motorcycles part time so that worked out well for me!
My Legends (that I bought from you) didn’t fit my 2000 DX stock shock hardware. I was doing tons of drugs in 05 and selling auto parts lol. Been clean and sober for 7 years now. Best seven years of my life!
15:18 mmark 😎 That's a Nutty Story 🪚, Down the Shute, in 05 I was a Second year Wrench taking a class at my Local Vocational school while working as a 🛠️ Maintaining vehicles for the M.B.TA. 2005 I was 43 yrs old. Driving bus for a rafting company in Golden BC Canada and shredding with the homies on the local downhill mountain bike trails. Lived on 5 acres, had my own backhoe and built a sick jump line on the property. Blinked, and it was 2024. Now I’m 62. No more mountainbiking. Back on the Harleys. Working on an identical 05 FXDCI. Got my 14” Revo A’s on. Ran into the same issue with the top OEM mounts. Hit them for 30 seconds with some open mesh abrasive cloth. Slide on like butter. I realize you’re going to change to your sliders and hardware but would like to get your new hardware kit without the sliders when it’s available. Thus eliminating that extra 3/8” OEM lower spacer.
So many kids in the scene now adays really makes a guy feel old. Been riding longer then most these stunt kids have been alive. I was in high school and my old man passed away in 05/06 AND it was the year i left home for good. Wild memories and times that would simply break the majoring of these newer generation kids. Men arent really men now adays and they sure dont go through all the wild shit we used to, love hearing the good ol boy tales from ya Ryan!
In 05 I was in kindergarten and had just had my face ripped off by a German shepherd 37 stitches later I’m not that ugly at the ripe age of 24😂 love the vids and this bike is sick. Btw the 3 scars healed well can’t even tell these days😉
Man I feel old, Trent a lil babbi. '05 if memory serves I was doing security n close quarter protection for people like T Pratchet. Different life. I need to go take a nap after all that writing. lol
Just graduated high school and started subcontracting for (at that time) 2 of the most well known carpenters in Des Moines area. Haha but that career ended real fast also in 2005 as I got in a fight with a table saw without a guard and severed a thumb off. Haha, long story but got the to keep the thumb luckily.
I honestly don’t feel much difference between the two and the legends cost a little bit less and come a hell of a lot faster other than that they’re both good
I was doin what I do now Auto Body tech in Los Gatos CA .. Riding one of those Dumb Ass Fat tire Big Motor Choppers at the young age of 47 Love my 02 FXDX and C-5 .. last year I got my Revo Arcs and the directions said the top studs gotta go .. Went with top sliders .. Maybe yours .. But I do need my sliders for your K- Bar ..
05 I was 1 year out of high school. Delivering flowers for a florist. And getting in trouble because women called in to complain that their bouquets smelled like cigarettes.. 😂😂
I put a set of Khrome Werks slip ons on my '05 Electra glide classic and I'm only getting heat out of the right side pipe. Will that hurt the engine or anything like the rings, etc.???
‘05 I was 1 year old and 19 years later I’d be ripping my sporty wishing I had a dyna 😂 fast forward a little bit and a foreign guy caused me to wreck the sporty in an illegal U-turn…. Maybe the dyna is more of a reality now.
Hey do you have hardware kits for sale? I'm trying to put a pair Legend Revo-A on my '05 Dyna and the shock studs I got from HD are not working. Your bolt & replica standoff set up is sweet and a great solution for my problem. Help?
@kruesioriginals The slider kit is a great kit but I have bags on my bike. What I need is really just the allen , bolt and nut and the replica Stand off to put the upper shocks on

2005 I was in 11th grade welding class at a vocational school...riding a YZ450f
Is the difference in the shock length caused by the engine/trans/swingarm not being exactly vertical within the frame?
That seems like the best analogy I’ve heard so far probably why. I think it also has to do with the heavy primary on the left side.
got a 2007 street bob dyna.... kinda leaning towards the revo... are the arcs worth the extra 500 bucks? I dont stunt.
100%. They are the only ones we run
And 15 years before I bought my first Harley Davidson. A 2020 RG Standard FYi
