Fabulous Baked Shrimp

- Baked in the oven, simple and delicious. Use my seasoning or season as you choose. A quick and simple meal. Great if you're in a rush!
Melt a stick of butter in the pan. Slice one lemon and layer it on top of the butter. Put down fresh shrimp, then sprinkle one pack of dried Italian seasoning. Put in the oven and bake at 350 for 15 min. Best Shrimp you will EVER taste:)
I'd add some garlic & garlic salt to perk it up a bit and don't forget to suck the skin before you peel it off, it's fabulous!!!

I decided to try something like this tonight but I sautéed a little onion and sweet bell pepper in the butter. Since I didn't have a lemon I used a little lemon concentrate and sprinkled some seafood seasoning on the shrimp instead of the ranch dressing. I'll try it your way next time but I loved it my way! Thank you for the inspiration!

Found this video I hadn't seen before. My mom use to buy Wishbone dressing all the time. Especially when she made coleslaw.

Kathy jo, these shrimp were not peeled (the supermarket didn't have any fresh, just frozen) If I had to do this again I would find the fresh but it was still very good. Thanks for watching and the thumbs up!!

+No Amateur Mom Hi No Amateur...you'll enjoy this dish. Try to use peeled shrimp so the Italian Dressing will penetrate and flavor that shrimp..so put it on the shrimp ahead of time and let it sit 30 min to an hour. Enjoy!!

You don't clean your shrimp?
+L Dean It was washed but I didn't peel it. There were no peeled shrimp to be had in my area when I made this video.

Shrimp is, always, a treat! Tho' I would season them without the skins. Don't like messing with it once they are done.lol

Just to let you know --when butter goes on sale, I stock up and put in the freezer. Great way to save money on butter. When you need some, put it on a butter dish in ice box or table to get to room temperature.
What were the red flakes?, Would be nice if you could share the ingredients and packages you use. thanks
The recipe is in the SHOW MORE section...the red flakes were probably red pepper flakes I added and not in the original recipe.

I would rather skip the lemon. I don't know why cooks cover seafood with lemon. I want to taste the shrimp not lemon.

eliminate the italian seasoning and add minced garlic and drizzle franks red-hot all over the shrimp (I prefer them peeled and de-veined) and bake the same way, it'll make your tongue slap your face.....
Hey bulldawg, there were no peeled shrimp to be found when I made this video. I no longer use Italian seasoning but I do use a garlic and herb which IMHO, a much better choice...the hot sauce, I love spicy things so that's not a bad idea but not too much....it would take over the other spices. looks wonderful. mothers day weekend so im gonna make this for my wife. we love shrimp but I usually put two sticks of butter and two tbsp. of minced garlic in a skillet then add the shrimp. once its done we pour it over fettucini. yours looks like it would be just as delicious and will be a nice change of pace. thanks for the recipes!!

Sounds like a great recipe. I'll have to try it. The only thing I'll have to try and cut out and replace with some spices is the Wishbone powder. It contains MSG.

Hi Christapher, you're absolutely right about peel and eat shrimp. This recipe should have used peeled shrimp with or without the tails but this was the only kind I could find. There must have been a "rush" on shrimp that week. LOL. Any way, if you make this, use peeled shrimp so the flavors can penetrate the shrimp. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I buy deveined shell on shrimp, they're nice and clean,I just inserted them in cold water.Shrimp is more flavorful cooked in the shell.

that was cute about the butter I don't like to be without real butter either and I only use margarine if I absolutely have to which is Almost Never
Hi Margie, I love the taste of butter. I always cook with it and use it all the time. Right now I have 4-1/2 lbs. in the fridge. I pick up a pound almost every time I go to the grocery. There is no other seasoning that can richen the taste of any dish you might be making. There's nothing like the real thing, lol!!!

Hi Pludie, I added some red pepper flakes and the zest of the lemon I cut previously. I recommend using shrimp that has been peeled and deveined for a more distinct flavor. TFW God Bless, Linda
