The answer to the goku vs saitama fight was given already. Goku loses fights and then get stronger. Saitama grows exponentially while fighting. Biggest mistake would be what goku always do. Start of small, cant beat, then goes ss3, then stronger, then stronger. Too much time given to Saitama. Would almost end up like garou first attack on saitama when saitama karate chopped him out.

Blast recognized and respected Saitama's power IMMEDIATELY and had his hands full just keeping the damage to a relative minimum; hence he stayed out of the fray. I don't think Blast will remember anything, and I don't think he's gonna challenge Saitama to a fight.
He seemed pretty real whenever he's made an appearance, so I think he'll talk to them with respect.
Also I feel like Blast doesn't remember the alternate timeline, if he did he would have most likely been trying to get into contact with Saitama to recruit him for his "Guardians of dimensions" group. And I feel like since Blast is rank 1 in the hero association he could have easily gotten the association to set up a meeting with him and Saitama ASAP.

Blast recognized and respected Saitama's power IMMEDIATELY and had his hands full just keeping the damage to a relative minimum; hence he stayed out of the fray. If they decide to let him keep his memories of the fight it would be to apprise Saitama of the true danger his power presents to EVERYONE/EVERYTHING THUS shortening the length of time it would take for Saitama to realize his TRUE power via natural progression and also warn him vs "god's" machinations to get his claws into Saitama as a vessel/puppet destroy everything or release him fully.
