When Brawlers were released last year, I used a 120 Valar that I had laying around and boosted that new character. I did so for one reason: Roving Threats. Every time one of my normal questing characters sees a Roving Threat, some enormous and enormously dangerous Level 100 super-boss just wandering around on the landscape somewhere, I relog to the 120 Brawler and =BAM= 2 gold! (More or less.) I suppose you could go around hunting Roving Threats and a couple of hours could net you a tidy amount of game gold. And thanks to the recent 15th Anniversary event, everyone has a Level 120 character now or the saved-up Valar to make one.
So, I believe, if you do one month subscriber and then stop and go back to free to play you will have access then forever. Check here lotro-wiki.com/wiki/Account_Type yes, You can only do 20 bids with normal free-to-play. But you can have five active posts if you've had at least one month subscription this will explain that. Hope that helps you!
Does LOTRO have an item you can buy with Real Money that then converts to in game Gold/Silver? Eve online you can buy "Plex" and then sell the plex in game to people who use it to pay for their monthly subscription so you effectively can buy In Game money with Real money?
Lotro dose not let you buy in-game money, gold silver and copper. It dose let you buy mithril coins that are used for many things. Also, lotro has the best free to play system. So you Don't have to have a subscription to enjoy anyway. Its mainly if you want to support the game and have a few perks. They do not want the in-game Economy to be flooded by real world money. That would drive up prices where most would not be able to use Auction hall and stuff. That is another reason why I Don't think they do. Good reason I believe. Lotro has only of the only mmo Economies that has not been destroyed.
I like to make new character and when i get tome of defence on him (somewhere around lvl 10 idk) i sell him and thats a lot of gold for not that much time
Better then alive. It's thriving. It always has been. But it's even having a huge amount of new players right now! There are a few reasons for this, they are doing graphic updates and other huge things, Amazon TV show rings of power, and world of War craft lost alot of players from something that happened? Many of them are finding lotro right now. Lotro is a great game. Good question!
Be my friends just recently left World of Warcraft for this game. And I imagine when the upcoming shows, it's going to get even more people. This is probably the best MMO that I have ever played. Sure the graphics are crazy old but still look pretty good. It needs technical upgrades on the back end. But the story and the immersiveness is just unparalleled.
As you made the statement about jewelry items on AH... evidently you don't have a jeweler vocation, because every Crit item at expert+ created forces a pop up "Inscribe Item Here" crap... which stops any continuation of crafting multiple items of the same type, BS. People complained about this over 10yrs ago and nothing has been fixed that I know of. /rant off btw nice video other-wise
There's a checkbox to disable this ("Disable Item Inscription") that has been there for years, right below where you enable a crit mat. Not sure when it was introduced, but at least before the launch of the Legendary servers.

Good guide! I think one of the issues with jewelry is the Battle system. Many times you can receive much better jewelry than what can be crafted.
not many, if we dont count BB ones. Some from missions can be good to, but outside tha, crafted are far better from ones you can get as drop
