For the roll play servers? They do still enforce, removing like inappropriate names etc.

@VoiceoftheRings EU side was less lax, *you had* to have a name that fit within the world which hasn't been the case a long while. Its a little thing, but not seeing e.g. Demonstompy went a long way for immersion!

Actually, I think MS said they would stop supporting the very old operating system.

I actually went into that full detail on my other video if you're curious to hear about it. If you know how computers work. They want to completely update the hardware and unfortunately the hardware they're using right now is very very old. I build a lot of computers all the time so I'm aware how hard it is to get the right hardware for an old part. It's far easier and works a lot better if you just buy all brand new hardware for the future of the game. They also don't want to bring over millions of old names. They want people who are playing right now or coming back to be able to move just their main characters. Also a big reason Windows and Microsoft are going to stop supporting 32-bit. Which means most that old software and hardware will become irrelevant. As devices and software keep increasing at such a rapid pace.

I'm not necessarily sure that it will make it more pain. If you draw a physical line on where the internet comes from Las Vegas might actually be closer to Brazil. Because I'm guessing that the internet goes down through Mexico with the lines. For both New Jersey and Las Vegas. So I would hold judgment until we actually try it and see. Also I'm sure having multiple servers in all parts of the world would be wonderful. But servers are expensive, And also trying to get servers in many different countries It's a very challenging thing when it comes to international. Even some of the biggest games in the worlds still struggle on getting servers everywhere.

Well think about it like having a computer that's 17 years old. I'm at a computer that can process at the speed of today. I remember my first computer about 12 years ago. When I was a kid. It was really really slow. Just uploading a basic game took me an hour. That same game will download on my new computer in 5 seconds. That's probably the most basic analogy I can explain. Basically the server end will be a lot faster at processing and having a lot more players. Which means you're going to be able to have a lot more players in an area with way less lag that's anything from the server. Man with the only lag you would get would be from some internet connection between you and the server but that's usually not the thing anymore in this day and age.

Angmar is more of a test. They did say they're using it as the basis to make the new ones. Also I'm sure there may be some things they're going to have to tweak. But I think one thing would be confident on is they will be far superior to the servers we have right now.

Hey we might get that! We've already got a lot of hints that that might be the next thing they work on after these new servers. But I can't tell you anything because I don't know anything it's all guesses.

Oh that's an old glitch that is still there. I'm hoping the new servers will actually try to help that glitch.

I have never heard of an issue like that. You did make sure to look at the character that you opened it on right? Also, You made sure to open all the packs and you didn't put one in your shared storage? ☝️. You're the first person out of thousands to ever have this problem. Fyi, standing stones I am sure will get back to you. But they're just right now going through a massive update of the game because we're getting brand new servers. So you're probably going to have to be patient. I would double check those locations though. I've never heard of someone not getting those when they have the other items in the inventory.

Well, it depends. I think you would get access to a few instances and raids. Also the quest line story. I mean, there's really not a point until you get to something that you can't do that you want to do!? Then at that point get it!? Also maybe just wait because sometimes they'll do really big sales. And you can get it then.
