- Fall is here! Today's resin craft, we are going to make a light-up flower display with real sunflowers. We will be making three different styles. First one will have alcohol ink drops. The second one will have gold foil. Third one will have a alcohol ink watercolor effect. Which one is your favorite?

I love bubbles on flowers it looks like dew, but I agree with the person below, maybe some UV resin in the center first.

You can drill a hole into the bubbles and fill with resin, I like the gold leaf one 😍

Very pretty🌻 Love the lights...I find putting the sunflower straight into the resin and not pouring resin into the center before, creates less bubbles... i tried both methods...💛🤍

Hello! This is an absolutely gorgeous idea and I was thinking of doing the same thing with the sunflowers my fiancé gave me when he proposed! How did you get the sunflowers to preserve so perfectly? They're so vivid and I'd love to get similar results!
I used the silica gel flower drying crystals. They do a great job with sunflowers.
They are all beautiful, even with the bubbles. I wonder if curing some resin in the centers first would help? Or maybe some UV resin to kind of cost the middles? Anyway, I love all of them!

Can I use acrylic paint mixed in resin on certain spots of previously dried flowers to make it more vibrant before embedding them in resin?

Did you use a specific type of led lights? And do you have to use a heat gun? I have a sunflower from my nephews funerals that I want to do this with but I am completely new to doing this. Yours turned out so beautiful!
I've dried flowers in silica for my resin molds before, but how did you flatten it for the drying pricess??? Thank you
The sunflowers were already flatish. I put them face down and they flattened more after adding the silica.
They look great. But, question: why don't you want bubbles in your work? Do they cause problems?
A few bubbles is expected but I find too many bubbles to be distracting. However I know some people don’t mind at all 😄
