My wife and I were in WOF for many years we left in 08 . And every service and at every time a preacher would come . We would tell people to sow into this ministry because it's good soil . prosperity WOF teaching knows nothing about scripture and true meanings of scripture. And I was a fool to be in it .And WOF will not convict . conviction makes us grow . This is why we have moved to Arizona Tucson and went to Shepheard's house for the first time last Sunday and loved it .And very excited about it. We are tilling our soil . We will prepare for growth .
When I first started the video, I was wondering "what has happened to Pastor Costi", lol. Then I understood where you were going. Thank you for another impactful video speaking the Word of truth.
Thank you for correctly explaining the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Only the fourth seed goes to Heaven, the person who obeys Jesus and bears good fruit to the end. All others face harsh judgment, the wrath of God for disobeying Jesus.
From the four soils only the first one is not saved, all the other 3 soils represent saved people. Yes, 2 and 3 are immature and don't grow into fellowship (discipleship) with God like soil number 4 (the disciple of Christ), but nevertheless they have a relationship with God from the moment they've put their faith in Christ as Savior. It's important not to mix discipleship criteria with salvation criteria. Salvation is by Grace alone through Faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9). While we look at outward appearances, God looks upon the heart and He knows the heart (1 Sam. 16:7a). A carnal/backslidden Christian is a child of God nevertheless, although they don't look like it, don't act like it, etc. and their faith is non-productive during such periods of backsliding. But once saved always saved stands (e.g. John 10:28; Eph. 1:13, 4:30, etc.).
By their fruits, we would know the tree The good fruits from the good tree connected to the good soil is obvious because of the great harvest Whereas the other 2 trees (in the shallow soil and thorny soil) are not obvious because there's no fruit....potential to be a fruitful tree is still there There's a twist though in my opinion...Jesus said apart from me, you can do nothing as we are the branches and He's the vine Salvation by grace through faith, unconditional, no part from our effort The result of plentiful of harvest also by grace BUT conditional upon our obedience (the soil condition) and God (the original sower) takes pleasure to co labour with us (who later on sowing together with Him) Imagine the 3 trees, without God who created the sun, the rain, the worms, composts etc then it will be impossible for any good soil to thrive...God (the best sower/gardener) is able to dig deeper (to help the shallow soil) and able to remove weeds (the thorny plants)
@@BEN_O_Ng Yes, I most certainly can agree with that. The false prophets are the ones who can be identified by their fruits (Matt. 7:15-16). Genuine Christians are only known by their true faith in Christ as Savior (Acts 16:31, John 6:29, John 3:15,16,36a, John 6:47, 1 John 5:13, etc.). And although the Holy Spirit will produce His fruit in the true believer (Gal. 5:22-23a), the outward appearance of a believer can't be used for the purpose of "judging" if someone is a Christian or not as plenty of people have humanly speaking "good works" which seem to make them Christians outwardly, but they've never put their faith in Christ as their personal Savior. The true Christian is a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17) and true "fruit" will be produced by the maturing Christian (2 Peter 3:18), but growing in Christ talks about discipleship, and we can't mix discipleship criteria with salvation criteria. So yeah, the disciple of Christ will have fruit as coming from a good tree, but fruit is not used to identify Christians but rather false prophets as we read in Matthew 7:15-16. Only God knows the heart (1 Sam. 16:7) and knows who is saved as well as each individual should know if they've trusted Christ as their personal Savior at one point in their life or not including the Spirit's internal witness (Rom. 8:16).
I get what this dear preacher is saying, but in one's walk with Christ is possible to go from one type of heart to another. It is very difficult to be a good soil from the jump. Even Peter the chief among the apostles struggled in his walk with Christ.
Yeah, that's same question I'd like to ask, considering the fact that he called them unbelievabing and perverse generation at one point (Matt. 17:17), in Matt. 8:26 He calls them "you of little faith". Were there really of good soil from the start.
Really? There’s no “growing in Christ”. You propose as soon as you become saved you get everything at once. It’s clear in the Bible that even the disciples went through a growth phase of knowledge, spirit, and truth.

All of us have challenges and walk through things in life that put us on the path, rocky ground, and in the thorns. But ultimately if we are saved there will be fruit and we will be connected to the vine of life, Jesus. Obviously life has many distractions and hurdles. The Christian Life is not easy because the devil, the flesh and the world are constantly trying to trip us and entangle us. Costi has it correct, there are four ways in which we may hear, and of these four, only one is right. There must be fruits of the spirit in our hearts and lives or else the gospel is preached to us in vain.
You are absolutely wrong Costi , all three soils are saved people, some will work the ground and some won't. Not all believers are disciples, really, read the Bible. Not all work and follow after Jesus yet believe in Him for life. I'm happy to see you come out of the word faith heresy that your Uncle teaches but you are very wrong on this and it's crucial that you understand it. Jesus explains it to you it's the parable that is explained and you still get it wrong.
Glory to God

Thank you for explaining this parable in context and in biblical way.

Wow that was beautiful
Thank you for this teaching ❤
This is so articulate, thank you.
So good!!
Excellent teaching!
where do i find my cross?
What was David going through when he was feeling downcast and forsaken?

What do you mean by “fruit”?
Fruit of the spirit I think.
I get what this dear preacher is saying, but in one's walk with Christ is possible to go from one type of heart to another.
It is very difficult to be a good soil from the jump. Even Peter the chief among the apostles struggled in his walk with Christ.
Were the apostles during Jesus’ ministry the fourth soil? Or another?

Were there really of good soil from the start.
Whoever calls on the name of the Lord and bears enough fruit, and does enough good will be saved...... ??
Because you are saved (genuinely) you will bear fruit and you will do good.
And then there's those who think they plant the seed for themselves and they are not the soil.
Really? There’s no “growing in Christ”. You propose as soon as you become saved you get everything at once. It’s clear in the Bible that even the disciples went through a growth phase of knowledge, spirit, and truth.
