The customer brought her shoes for repair, but did not want to change the soles, so this senior master did a good job for her and will soon have this budget repair done. Many "shoe restoration" videos are showing cobblers practically recreating as-good-as-new shoes, barely keeping the uppers and changing the entire sole using lots of expensive spares and devices... That probably costs several hundred dollars to the customer. This is an interesting video, because it shows an "average" shoemaker store with basic equipment performing a basic repair on shoes that are visibly barely worth the cream you would use to make them shine. I guess - due to poor material quality - the second shoe will fail soon, or that both soles will crack where the new front outsole joins the original heel... But that was a satisfying one to watch. Thanks a lot.

@Pro-shoe-repair Music style is OK. It's no big deal to turn the volume off anyway. But maybe I would enjoy an ASMR-style video more, with toned-down workshop noises and atmosphere. And some captions to give context, explain choices...
