Especially since they were so long. Andrea might have taken extreme care of her nails, but bc how excellent you are at your profession is why they still look so great. I've never had my nails ever last past 2 weeks without some casualty. Great job!
Pdx Paula the longest set i had last I had done on myself, and it lasted a month! I was shocked but I noticed when going to certain nail shops here in the US my nails always lifted. But started doing my nails myself not a lift in sight (once I started getting better).

Good pick up on the grain in the first metallic nail Mr Camera Man.... maybe as a laugh Kirsty you should get your camera man to do your next set of nails... lol he’s pretty good at naming all the designs. TBH - and I am a licensed cosmo for 25+ years - I prefer to use a variable speed cordless Dremel with nail bits. You do have to buy the 1/32 collar for the Dremel to fit the shaft for the nail bits but I’ve found the Dremel to be much more affordable in the long run being more sturdy.
Can't wait till tomorrow to see the rest. And then I think u should do a Chinese New Year; year of the dog set. I need some inspiration by the weekend😆😁😀😊😍🐕🐶🐩

I’m now left with nails that are like tissue, loook at them and they tear. I’ve tried everything to strengthen. I wish you were north of the border.

Ques, why you don’t use cuticle remover (liquid form) before pushing the cuticles? Because it hurst when nail tech do it to me sometimes. Back home in Philippines we used cuticle remover to soften the skin first.
Good Day! I noticed you pour your liquid in open dish. Do you discard what is left after each client? Many moons ago when I was first trained (early 90s) I was taught to reuse the liquid. Now in the states, state boards recommend to discard any remaining liquid. What is required where you are?

The White Queen I would imagine if she used a drill, she would still have to come back and smooth the markings she made with the drill anyways. Actually faster to just use the hand file :)
Take them off and do a new set, probably. I suppose it depends on exactly what the client wants. If it's something encapsulated them it's full new nails.

Dry cuticle work is better for enhancements, as cuticle removal products can affect adhesion

how can you tell if it’s lifted when you use anything but clear acrylic?
How come you can put metallic on a shiny surface (top coat) but with other gel polishes, you put it on a matte top coat so that it doesn’t slip about?
