The part that really got me was the way that charlotte themed the ball heavens and the stars to make george comfortable her dress had stars and moons on it, it was at night, and there was statues of the zodiacs in the background
I was already attached to the king from the few times we saw him in Bridgerton. But now... I would cry so much if he died... They broke me with this final scene. I cried so much...
We did some googling after the show and it turns out that he actually outlived Charlotte in real life, I don’t know which is worse😞 that final scene was so incredible😭
Lovely story. I saw it between the two regular season and it really did add to my enjoyment. That final scene with George and Charlotte under the bed, jumping from present to past... a master piece. Loved it.
Violet is not Agatha's best friend. They just became real friends in Queen Charlotte. They were polite ton members in Seasons 1 and 2. Meanwhile, Lady Danbury and Queen Charlotte have been best friends for nearly 60 years.
@@DanBrown96 They do not say any such thing. Their friendship literally only became intimate in Queen Charlotte. Violet didn't even want to come to Agatha's house after their encounter at the church - when Violet was offended that Agatha called her fortunate. She didn't understand what she meant and had no idea about her marriage to Lord Danbury because they didn't talk about intimate subjects. No way that's Agatha's BFF when she has been speaking candidly to Queen Charlotte for almost 60 years. This also is not setting up future drama because Agatha and Violet reached an unspoken understanding. Adjoa Andoh broke it down in the podcast for the people who didn't understand.
Recall in Season 2 when Lady Danbury tell Kate, "I am a widow. I have loved. I have lost. I have earned the right to do whatever I please, whenever I please and however I please to do it. Child, you are not me. And if you continue down this road, you most certainly never will be.” At the time I heard this, I thought Lady D was talking about having loved and lost her deceased husband. Now I choose to believe her 'love and lost' - her person - was Lord Ledger. I believe he saw her for who she was and provided her with passion and a listening ear that she had never experienced before.
18:00 You,"I wonder who Adolphus married?" Historically, Charlotte's brother never married. After all his fine, sanctimonious words to her about "doing your duty for the good of their country" in this drama.
You guys are a joy to watch, mainly because you come across as hopeless romantics. 11:58 You guys finally see that modern day Queen Charlotte is playing the Dowager Princess role. How many people do you guys remember when you were 12 years old that your parents ran into when you were with them going for a walk? That's how old Violet is when she meets the younger Lady Danbury, who was already widowed with four children. Characters in TV shows remember things that normal people don't remember in real life. 12:47 His majesty is just code for I'll decide later, because His Majesty has yet to make a single decision about anything other than going to the Danbury ball that one time. 14:32 As loyal as Brimsley was to Queen Charlotte, Reynolds was as loyal to King George., which was the source for the show's drama. 19:30 Why did the writers show Lady Danbury breaking down in front of the Princess Dowager? I think the writers wanted to show that the Princess Dowager was a bigger influence than the fans of this show think.
At that time, aristocratic widows retained their titles until their death, even if they remarried. To give one infamous case, the widowed 16th century Duchess of Suffolk later married her stableboy (!!!) but was always called Duchess of Suffolk. I guess that title was more appealing than 'Mrs. Stableboy.' 😉 🤣 And a hundred years earlier, the dowager queen Catherine had married a hunky usher/troubadour, Owen Tudor. Both mésalliances were considered so scandalous that the womens' sanity was questioned, - and still is.
Another great reaction, Ladies! I have enjoyed watching this series with you. 🦋🐞 According to the actor that plays older Brimsley, Reynolds is not dead. They were to film a scene of the two them when they were older. They were to pass each other in the hallway or stairs. However, that scene was never filmed due to time constraints so there's a chance we could see him in a later Bridgerton series. 💜
Now we need a spin-off of Violet and Edmund. Their meeting, courtship, marriage, and maybe up to the birth of Anthony. Or the first 4 kids. But not as far as when Edmund died. We've already been traumatized by that.
in Queen Charlotte's defense, in that period of time, royal children and children born into the aristocracy led very separate lives from their parents. They were raised by nannies, not by their parents. Even your own King Charles II. It was his nannies and the Queen Mother that he received affection and the feeling of unconditional love from, not his own mother, the beloved Queen Elizabeth II. It was just the way it was done. Children were truly seen, at an appointed time and briefly, and not heard.

@@TheCornerverse i don't know either 😥
@@TheCornerverse and he was not even aware of Charlotte's death. That is very sad

Couldn't agree more!

Well, that’s ironic😦

The child those 2 had, the royal heir, was Queen Victoria
Georgia this is gonna sound weird but I love your hair! It looks so full and healthy!
Omg thank you! It can be very hit or miss day-to-day though, trust me😂
Such a great last episode!! Great reaction 😄

Thank you for watching with us🫶🏼 no way!! So does this mean he still works in the palace?? So many questions!
@@TheCornerverse LOL 😂 I think he still cares for the king in some capacity. I’m hoping we get to see him in season 3 🤗🩷

just found your channel yesterday and i love your reactions!! definitely had to subscribe!!
the saddest thing is that Charlotte died first
She will probably die in S3 of Bridgerton... She is in her final year in the Bridgerton times.
@@sabcam2000 this is BridgerWorld. They can keep Queen Charlotte alive as long as they want.
